Set in an ideal location for visiting St George's Castle and for views of the city, this clean, pleasant and comfortable apartment met all our expectations. The friendly, helpful host was there to greet us and the digital key worked quite well throughout our stay, although setting it up does initially take some time. There are a few good restaurants nearby but it only takes 10 minutes or so to walk down to the city centre. If the walk back up the hill seems a little daunting after a hard day's sightseeing or shopping, taking the Elevador Castelo from Rua dos Fanqueiros in Baixa makes the climb feel a lot shorter.

The location of this hotel is exceptional - tucked up in the castle walls at the top of the hill commanding a wonderful view of the sea. Our apartment was light and airy, spacious, and very modern. The kitchen was superbly equipped for such a small space and there was the added bonus of an extra toilet. The bedding was crisp and the mattresses comfortable, including on the sofabed where our daughter slept. The bathroom was well equipped and the towels soft and fluffy. We had received details of how the electronic locks worked prior to checking in so it was a simple case of scanning the lock on our phone. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and helped us organise morning breakfast (very generous portions with tons of variety) and our transfer back to the airport.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were exceptionally clean. I mean I haven't seen rooms this clean in years. It's comfortable and cozy. It takes a bit of a climb to get there but it's through a nice and picturesqe neighbourhood so it's a bonus.
