Loved everything!

Breakfast was wonderful. Location was perfect in the heart of Vienna and close to restaurants, museums, concert halls. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable.

Few small incidents related to the kitchen services, delay in breakfast and a poor room service, but the management went out of their way to fix the issues and they were extremely attentive, we were offered a free ride to the airport and a nice Imperial torte to apologise. Honestly the level of professional service and politeness is beyond description.

Excellent hotel filled with luxury and history. The hotel is a gem by itself with the refined features and interiors. Our classic room had a nice balcony with a high ceiling , they received us with cake, balloons and champagne in the occasion of my birthday. The hotel is centrally located. Walking distance to the old town, the Albertina museum, the Opera House and all the attractions of the city. The breakfast is nice. The bar is elegant. The spa and sauna are OK but not wow. All in all , I highly recommend this hotel.

There was nothing I really didn't like about this hotel. I would compare it to Empress Sisi after age 35, beautiful, stately, well kept, however starting to show it's age a bit, especially in the rooms. It could use a little freshening up, such as updating the paint here, touching up a nicked wall there. That's it though. It was still beautiful and I would return.

This is a classically beautiful centrally located hotel that was previously a palace. I felt like royalty in the room, which had a large bathroom, bedroom and a living area. The staff was amazing and attended to my needs. They were friendly and courteous. The food at the Cafe was good however it was a very large portion. I had the Viennese Schnitzel, that was seasoned perfectly however, it was two large pieces that I could not finish.

The staff from the moment you arrive make you feel very special and welcome. We had a free upgraded room to an elisabeth suite which was a lovely birthday suprise. Both me and my partner were amazed with the suite. The staff just cant do enough for you during your stay and we will certainly be returning. A truly magical romantic weekend in Vienna.

The lady at reception on Saturday 9th April was very nice and welcoming, indulged me with some of the building's history. I hope she asks for and gets a raise within six months:) My room was like art, but also very peaceful and welcoming, I think i relaxed for a moment. Often you really do get what you pay for. I very much enjoyed the lady playing the harp in the bar. It was a lovely subtle backing track as i was evesdropping on a trio of middle aged, cut and paste american money men talking shop. A younger affiliate joins them later with apologies for being late. His clothes looked like he had worn them since yesterday, his hands moved with uncertainty, driven by post stimulant anxiety to search pockets for answers that are not there. As he took his seat he clocked me checking him out, our eyes locked and his brow furrowed aggressiely as i continued to look at him. I softened my eyes and smiled a knowing smile to him. I know you, or more accurately i know this mask you are wearing right now, its going to be a rough day mate. He broke eye contact as he settled into his seat, gradually rearranging his posture and facial expression to something resembling a thoughtful observer or potential consultant on important issues. He was neither, he was just meat in the room. I took a sip of my drink and disengaged from what could be considered minor harassment to enjoy the harpist and the scene for a moment before leaving for the night. Our young protagonist held form for as long as he could before excusing himself to make a strategic toilet visit. I was tempted to hang about till he came out all wired and awkward, have another champagne cocktail and watch this goon sweat embryos trying to be relevant within in a conversation he may never understand. Good luck my blatently obvious target of observation, i hope you have lovely parents. The eggs benedict were top draw. Next time im getting a smoking room, my mistake.

Client services made a huge mess by email before the travel. They gave me wrong information about covid regulations which almost made me give up on the travel. The officer in question was not prepared to hear or explain anything, and she disappeared as soon as her confusion became an issue.

The hotel is magic for a luxury trip.

It's difficult to find poor aspects. The hotel is relatively expensive, but as expected for this tier of luxury. Maybe one thing - not every room has a separate shower cabin; ours only had a bathtub.

Hotel Imperial in Vienna is a truly luxurious hotel. Everything, from staff, through rooms and decor to room service, is top-notch. We've reserved a Junior Suite but received an upgrade to Elisabeth Suite. If you can - try to book it, these rooms are absolutely stunning—incredibly high ceilings (over 4m, I think), palace-like decor and genuinely 5-star service. Also - everything was super clean. Beds are large, very comfortable and combined with high ceilings, provide a fantastic sleeping experience. The hotel staff is very professional, kind, always smiling, and well-dressed. They are helpful in all aspects. This hotel is amongst the most luxurious experiences we've ever had, and we mega recommend it :) Opus restaurant that's in the hotel deserves an excellent recommendation as well. We had a 5-course dinner, and it was super tasty.

This is a house which served and serves Kings and Queens, and the staff treats you like one. On check in they noted - without me mentioning it - my wifes birthday the next day, and surprised us with extra attention, gifts, and made our stay extra special.
