Absolutely fabulous stay.Thank you to all the staff from the reception team to all the waiters and waitresses and the cleaning team who made our room so clean and cosy daily .The friendly , professional waiters and waitresses who always smiled and nothing was too much trouble .Loved our stay here and will be returning for another visit . The spa facilities were a must after Skiing for the day and they had a good range of different saunas and steam rooms .

1) The attitude of the hotel owners. No proper greeting of their guests (it’s a superior hotel.!!!!), rude most of the times in our requests.. When we asked for our bath robes and slippers (which were missing from our room), as well as for a set of towels for our child, the answer from the hotel owner was “it’s all in your room, keep looking”. We explained that we had no bathrobes nor slippers in our room! They didn’t even suggest to come upstairs and check themselves. This is not the attitude one expects from a hotel of this quality (and price!). 2) most of the times the owners didn’t even wear a mask when walking around the hotel. Sometimes they wore a cloth mask (?!?!?) although the rules for Austria currently indicate an FFP2 mask without valve! 3) In the corridor outside our room there was a stationary bike where some people used to bike during the afternoons. Again, without wearing mask! Not sure why they didn’t go to the gym instead..

Delicious breakfast and meals in general. The kitchen was so nice as to make special food for our 15 month old child. The location is great, one can reach everything by foot. The parking situation is not ideal- there are a few parking spots outside the hotel but the garage is full and very tight in space. The personnel was extremely friendly and helpful. Very service oriented, experienced. The staff working at the hotel made our stay really delightful!!

The hotel is in the centre of Zell am See, very close to the lake and has a good free shuttle service to the cable car City Express. The personell is very polite and nice, they speak different languages. We liked the pool with various massage jets and a hot tub which was opened already in the morning. The size of hotel is big but it managed to retain a warm hospitality. The inside is made in traditional austrian alpine style with a lot of wood which contributes to cozy feeling. Very clean, especially in the pool and sauna area where you could see the cleaning lady all the time. We appreciatte being offered an upgrade to suite free of charge, so overall we are very happy with our stay. Skiing in Zell am See is nice, but don't miss out Kaprun Kitzsteinhorn, it is heaven on earth!

I would have liked a few extra things in my room; a kettle, bottled water, and the netflix app on the tv to log into my own account if I wanted to watch something. With these little extras, the stay would have been perfect.

The breakfast was amazing. The staff were so attentive and accommodating. The pool was lovely and the spa was an added bonus.

WiFi was unstable, should work better. Pillows and beds were to soft. All together, for the price I would expect none of these small issues.

- poor parking facilities (tiny garage and almost no space outside) - small rooms - no lake view (from our room) - we find room rates overpriced - seperate blankets for couples' bed (common problem in Europe, same as seperate mattresses) - no room service

The hotel was beautiful, traditional design, good service. Our room was located next to the stream and we slept very well - the sound of it made us fall asleep every evening :) we loved the food, breakfast and dinner were wonderful. Nice bar. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Good room cleaning, I would say the hotel in general is very clean!

Parking space is limited but there are parking garages nearby.

The food (dinner and breakfast) was amazing! Every night we were surprised by original dishes, all beautiful decorated and very tasteful. The wellness treatments were of excellent quality in a top level environment. This hotel has the highest quality in everything, every detail is thought of. Staff is really nice and helpful.
