The treasury is actually two buildings one being the Casino with accommodation and another a short walk away. Easy to confuse when booking. Also very confusing on arrival and departing especially if you are leaving early from the car park.The rooms are old and dated but comfortable. Could not access the balcony also disappointing. All in all not what I expected but comfortable.

This hotel has a lot of old world charm with comfortable large rooms and bathrooms. Very central to city and easy access to river cats to visit other suburbs. Easy walking distance to South Bank.

Really nice hotel. Huge rooms and really well furnished. Has a lovely old feel to it, but has been very well maintained. Only stayed one night so didn’t explore too much, but the room was excellent. Super comfy beds

It is grand and something to experience. 20 foot plus ceilings plus ornate carpentry plus bathrooms of sheer elegance. Everyone should stay here at least once.

Car park a little tricky to negotiate initially, and best to choose package with parking included as parking is pricy.

Loved the decor and furnishings, massive room with opulent feel. Very well appointed. Great city view from the balcony. Package included parking, breakfast (absolutely beautiful), evening meal voucher and late check out - excellent value 👌

Some of the decor was slightly dated, by having rips in the curtains, paint was chipping from around the bathtub. But nothing bad at all.

The hotel was so close to everything, walking distances were small.

love the classic charm and features of the building, it's so pretty. Got there and got a complimentary upgrade to a suite above the casino - so handy and the suite was just beautiful.

Honestly can't say that there is anything we didn't like.

We've stayed at The Treasury multiple times and keep going back because it feels like a luxury getaway at a great price. We always get a package deal which includes parking, breakfast and late checkout as well as $50 dining credit so we treat ourselves to some room service too. Location is amazing and just a short stroll over to the casino. The staff are welcoming, professional and make you feel like a VIP. Rooms are large, luxurious and clean and the bedding is superb. Breakfast is always sublime with great choices even though it's on a package deal. Love the late checkout too!

1. Noisy pipes in the wall kept us awake 2. For almost $500 for one night's accommodation, there should be a spare blanket in the room. 3. There used to be a cafe on the first floor that was very convenient for all meals, that is now a noodle bar, which was closed when we were there. Somewhere to eat would be very helpful.

Staff were very helpful, to the point of delivering a blanket to our room, while we were in it, sleeping !
