  “Recently renovated rooms (our room had 5 double power sockets!!), parking area, helpful staff, restaurant is open all day and popular with locals. The younger staff have good English, and the restaurant has menus in English. A little out of the centre, but very good value and exceeded our expectations for a 2*”

  “We arrived early at the property and the lady on reception was friendly and let us leave our bags at reception while our room was prepared. Gave a good restaurant recommendation when asked and also let us leave our luggage at reception after checkout while we waited for our onward transportation. Excellent location close to the river and a short walk to the fortress. Quiet street. Comfortable beds. Communication was in Bulgarian so can't comment on language ability of staff”
