“The property itself was beautiful - such a great setting in the jungle! The food was also great!”

  • “The location is good. Further, you can watch many birds closely.”

  • “Perfect place to relax, I didn’t leave the hostel much-had everything you’d want to relax and disassociate and slow down.”

  • Quetzal Dorado Eco-Lodge Review score: 9.5

“The whole place is beautiful, the lodges and location was perfect to visit Tayrona Park but also some other locations like Buritaca and Palomino. The view from the lodge is perfect to see the beautiful sunsets that Santa Marta has to offer, the staff overall were a 100/10 Will definitely come back 💙”

  • “This was the most unique jungle experience we've ever had. The way the entire facility is laid out in various treehouses is impressive, the views are beautiful and the pools and hammocks are very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and it was very nice to see the way they treated their rescued dogs.”

  • “Breakfast was decent, lunch and dinner low level! Location was good and the space inside the hotel is nice! However, communication and the quality of services not that good!”

  • Senda Koguiwa Review score: 9.6

“Fantastic food, location and hotel overall. Perfect for a daytrip to Tayrona Park and also to have some quality relaxation at the pool. We also thoroughly enjoyed the cocoa experience.”

  • “What a nice location, middle in the jungle. You have to walk 20 minutes through the jungle or you can take a motorbike for 2 dollar/euro. It was a nice walk through. Once arrived very nice environment, pictures doesn’t lie. Semi private room missed a wall so you feel that you stay middle in the jungle. Matras was really comfy. Easy to connect with other travellers. Owners build a nice dream hostel. Food and pool was nice. Close to the national park.”
