Positive section of review
Very poor continental breakfast. Dry bread for toast, no cream for coffee. Dining area dirty. T.V. Hard to get to work remote did not work. Staff finally turned it on. Bathroom sink did not drain property. Floor and carpet need replacing. Foot stool stained. Hallways needed vacuumed. Will never stay again.

I liked nothing. There has been a management change and none of it for the better. I have been a repeat client man many times over the last 10 years, but never again.

The bathroom was very dirty. Dirty water streaks and hand prints on the walls and tub. Notifying cleaning staff directly did not result in it being cleaned. Notifying cleaning staff the following day and physically pointing out the dirty spots resulted in those spots being cleaned but they left other definitely visible dirty spots. The dirty inside of the bathroom door was only half cleaned. Lots of dirt and grime remained. The breakfast has gone very much downhill. Tables are dirty, dirty dishes stack up on a side table and are not cleared away. Salt and peppers and ketchup were all empty even first thing in the morning. Breakfast service does not start until 0730, which is definitely not industry standard. Only one bath towel provided for double occupancy. We had to ask multiple times for more towels. No extra toilet paper roll supplied. We had to ask multiple times for that as well. Our fourth and final night, we discovered the restaurant on the street level has turned into a nightclub. It played loud bass heavy music until 0200 that reverberated through the entire building. There was also a private function (wedding I think) in the ballroom and that music was also loud and competing with the noise of the dance club. Front desk did not seem to take any complaints seriously and had to be hard pressed for even a 20% discount for the final night stay. This refund took over 20 minutes to process, with front desk staff on the phone the entire time trying to figure out how to do it. The rating for this hotel is still high on the booking sites, as it is riding on the glory of the wonderful years of former management. Our entire stay we encountered other clients with stories and complaints similar to ours. Beware. This place is not what it used to be.

The room was clean and I liked the balcony. Close to many restaurants, mall, gas stations.... Feeling safe in town is important. Many opportunities for parking.

I didn't like that, I arrived at 3.20 and I received a room that wasn't ready for customers (room 319), I was waiting on the hallway to be done fast, (the girls were so nice and clean everything fast to make the room done and they apologies so many times even wasn't their fault), but also the key didn't worked, so went back to the front desk to "discover" that actually the girl from front desk supposed to give us the room 323 (how I saw her writing on some papers when she checked my id) instead of room 319. Went back upstairs, the room was clean, all good. But over night was impossible to sleep, from 12 to 3 in the morning people just talking very loud on the hallway and a lot of "traffic" .

Getting off the train we were a little confused as the Hotel access is not clearly marked on the train level. We didn't realize we had to go down a level and access hotel from outside. It would have been great if the hotel sent out access directions before arrival. I realize I could have researched it better, but when you are tired after a couple of long-haul flights, we weren't in our prime for adventure! :)

There is stain (about 8 inch x 8 inch) on the carpet outside the bathroom. It has to be clean. The alarm on the left hand side of the bed is a bit dusty. There are marks on the tiles above the bathtub.

Bedroom had a massive ant problem by the front door, management on duty wasn't very helpful or polite, floors were dated and had massive lumps in the carpets, shower had a airbubble in the lining of the tub so made standing very uncomfortable , also had to go to dollartree to get a PowerBar so we could use both the light and the TV in our room.
