The hotel room provided us with a magnificent view facing the Grey Glacier and the Torres del Paine mountains. There was one fantastic member of the restaurant during breakfast who spoke good English, was welcoming and very helpful. She is in the wrong job...move her to the reception please. She will do a fabulous job.

The rooms are poorly furnished. They carpets were not clean and vacuumed and there was grit in the carpets and walking barefeet was not nice. There are no tea/coffee making facilities. A hotel should provide atleast two bottles of complimentary water. The room temperature was too warm and uncomfortable to stay in or sleep inspite of turning off the radiator. Opening a window is impossible as the wind blows it shut. Food was average and expensive. Breakfast was quite basic. It would be nice to have competent reception staff who are able to speak English. The whole world does not speak Spanish, but the whole world today largely communicates in English. The Hotel knows it has the best location and therefore spends no effort to be the best in service, quality or go the extra mile. That is its major drawback

Spacious and comfortable room. Wide range of options at the buffet breakfast. Excellent food and drinks in the Bristol Restaurant and also at the bar. Very helpful reception staff, and especially so in helping to quickly track down a bag that was inadvertently left in a taxi. Top marks for that!

The hotel is decent. It's quite an older hotel so everything is starting to get dated. But everything was comfortable enough. The breakfast provided was good but nothing special.

I left my bag there while I went to hike Patagonia and when I came back, my laptop had been stolen out of my bag that was supposedly locked in a "safe" room. The staff has no idea who did it or was willing to let me look through the security footage of the areas. Not even an inkling of being helpful if I wasn't there to keep pushing for more details. Dinner at the restaurant was a little overpriced for the taste and quality. Recommend just walking outside to other restaurants and you'll get better bang for your buck.

This will be a comprehensive review with information for people to save money and not get treated like idiots by The Massif,keep reading and I will give you options to not use the services provided by The Massif. There is a tour agency named The Massif that is in this hotel but they are not owned by the hotel and is a completely separate company and The Massif is rubbish. First I will talk about the hotel. I had to deal with a very incompetent reservation staff named Veronica Ulloa. She has the title of reservation executive which is a joke because she does not how to do her job. She emailed me telling me that I will lose my reservation soon if I don't make a payment via PayPal. I had just arrived in Chile at the airport at that time and as struggling to get data having to rely on airport WiFi. Tried calling her multiple times on her work phone to try to tell her not to cancel my reservation and that I will try to make the payment soon once i have proper internet (which made me lose a lot of money due to international roaming),she did not pick up although I called within working hours. She ignored all my emails and all my texts. She works from home and clearly is using her work time for personal use and not actually doing work. Very lazy and incompetent. I need to highlight that when I called,texted and emailed Veronica it was during working hours and she was working that day,as clarified by her colleague. In the end I managed to speak to another staff who was very helpful and sorted everything for me super quickly and actually does her job properly unlike Veronica who is a joke. Who gave her the title of reservation executive? She is useless. And till today no apologies from Veronica Ulloa for the trouble and panic she has caused me,what an incompetent and irresponsible staff. I am happy with other aspects of the hotel. My room was good,service was good and breakfast was good. Now to the main rubbish I will talk about which is The Massif.
