I recently had a wonderful stay at a villa that boasts a great and quiet location close to the beach, offering a peaceful environment away from traffic and busy roads. The surrounding area is picturesque, characterized by rice fields and residential houses. A trip to Canggu is just about 25 minutes by bike. The villa itself is new and beautifully designed with a fantastic swimming pool. The housekeeping staff was very punctual and responsive. Highly recommended!

The homestay is located very well, you can reach many restaurants or take walks in the surrounding nature which is just incredible. The restaurant of the homestay serves delicious food, has good prices and its staff is really nice and friendly as well. The massage that I got was great and inexpensive. In addition, my room was very clean and nicely decorated with a nice view on the mountains. Definitely a great value for this price.

Unfortunately, as a female solo traveller I didn‘t feel comfortable. The host constantly tried to convince me to take his offers for trips or taxi services. He didn't want to accept that his taxi offer was too expensive for me and I felt like I had to justify myself for saying no. One time, he also came up to my room to ask me if I wanted to eat breakfast, I don‘t understand why he cared about that anyway. I was still asleep and I also could have just come out of the shower, for example. As a man, he shouldn't just come to my balcony where you could see into my room. I felt a little harassed by that because this is not okay in my opinion. In addition, there are two dogs that you have to pass to get to the homestay which is very scary (especially when it’s dark) because they come running out of their property since there is no gate and bark at you. So if you are scared of dogs, be aware of that.

Prime Plaza Suites is consistently good across the board. The suites are very spacious and well appointed. Pools and water slide are great for kids as is the kids club. Breakfast is excellent and all the staff very polite and helpful.

The people in the room suite above us where continually banging on the floor day and night (assuming kids running jumping etc. for hours on end.) It was disturbing and annoying during the day and made sleeping difficult at night. When politely approached about the noise, their response was to "up the anti." Fortunately it is rare to come across such rude people at this property.

Resort being 35 years old, rooms, toiletbowl, pool need upgrading. AC in rooms need bad maintenance !!! Not cold or even cool in room. Make up room service with a stained bedsheets. We have to use extra towels to cover the bed to sleep. Lobby area are very big that left unused areas which can be used in many ways. For example, may be an idea to have/open a small mini-mart for guests to grab a quick buy rather then going out at day/night to buy necessities.

Ruined holiday. I would have gladly paid for the room if I could have saved my holiday and airplane ticket if resort had told me about a situation they knew about that was a deal breaker for me. I mean the resort didn't inform me of a lockdown due to national celebrations, which lasted 28pct of my stay. They said they had informed other guest ahead, but thought I wouldn't mind because I stayed at Nunu last year for 3 nights and didn't complain. But I am an adult and can think for myself. And we were in touch on Facebook even days before arrivals. They said it's ok to have a bad holiday sometimes. But why deciding for me again, it wouldn't have been bad if they had told me because I would have gone somewhere else. I flew 19 hrs only to get stressed about lockdown and to be checking flights to get out but those were full. They offered to refund everything, eventually refunded only 2 nights after a week of discussions. But those 2 nights Nunu and other resorts in Bali weren't even selling, I figured when I tried to move closer to airport, so I am not sure how I booked them in first place. To be locked for 2 nights just to leave the following morning. Looks like it took a lot of stress to be refunded nights I was missold in first place. Besides, they didn't understand that I didn't have to come to Bali, I could have gone to Thailand or Bahamas, if I had known. I didn't wish to be locked down 28pct of my stay, one day with nice places closed, another day full lockdown. Booking.com said it was resort's responsibility to inform. When I talked to Nunu they said don't talk to us because you are causing us stress. But it was ok to cause me stress. Food that was on the menu I would not eat normally but quality of delivery was disappointing so I didn't have much choice. I really don't care about bugs on the floor. However the ear wig I had in my bed may have given me a heart attack if it went to my ear.
