A great place to stay, we felt very looked after and a fantastic location. Great value for money. The whole place is elevated by the host. Carmen welcomed us with open arms, my boyfriend suffered from the altitude and she was really helpful, making him tea and helping him recover. The accommodation itself was clean and matched the photos, we loved chilling in the internal courtyard with all of the plants and her super chilled out dog. We had hot water, yes it was a little temperamental but this is the case in the whole of the Cusco historic area. The wifi worked perfectly. Carmen also does laundry and delivered clean clothes to our rooms. She stored our suitcases whilst we went on a 2 day trek. It’s located on a quiet street, neighbours are mainly shops with no bars/restaurants right next door - so it’s super quiet at night, some of the best sleep I had in Peru! The rooms aren’t heated, but there are plenty of blankets and I slept in just a T-shirt without feeling cold.

The Host was amazing! He gave us recommendations, was always flexible and super nice. In general, the Hostal does not look like on the pictures! It’s all white and wood, orange curtains which make Waking up a pleasure and defeinetly a great choice. If the mirrors and the kitchen would be a little cleaner, it would be a 10/10. but we’re backpacking- so that’s ok. You can not find it on google maps but on Apple Cards

The staff at Le Foyer were very kind and helpful: they gave us good directions for hiking, helped confirm a tour reservation, and gave us a thermos of hot water with tea when we were not feeling well. Location was great for light hiking from this quiet town.

Excellent customer service; they changed the room, we're considering making a discount because there was no hot water when I arrived , the room was cleaned after 1 night, 2 different size pillows , great location and very good breakfast

The staff are fantastic. I loved Freddy’s coffee tour. Esther let me check in early after a mornings hike and greeted me with a lemonade. The location is great. The food is great

Just be mindful that if you’re booking a room through booking.com it will be considered as a bed in a dorm, not the whole room. I had booked what I understood to be a private room and when I found out it was considered a shared dorm, I upgraded to a private and just paid a little more.
