This hotel enjoys a fantastic location, conveniently near popular attractions such as the Han Market and the iconic Dragon Bridge. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing useful advice on local attractions and assisting with Grab bookings. They also recommended excellent local dining options. The hotel's riverside location offers a beautiful view and ensures that the rooms stay cool in the afternoons. From my spacious room, I had a stunning view of the Dragon Bridge. The accommodations are large and offer great value for money. I highly recommend this hotel as a great choice for any traveler.

Our stay at Emerald Classy was exactly what we expected reading the other reviews. The location was 10/10 and the service was a 10/10 as well. The rooms were clean and exactly what we needed for our city stay. They went above and beyond in making us feel at home, helping us with recommendations and when trying to book a grab to Ninh Bin (not booked through them) they helped us negotiate with drivers to ensure a safe arrival to Ninh Bin. Breakfast was also delicious and plentyfull :)

The hotel provides a very nice view of the mountains and is easy to reach by foot if you arrive via bus from Lao Cai. We could deposit our luggage before check-in and after check-out. We were also allowed to use the pool after the check-out. The staff was overall very friendly and manager Phuc was especially helpful and provided tips on what to do and helped us book (and cancel) a taxi back to Lao Cai.

Excellent location and value for money Easy walk to lots of different places for food and shopping. Communication was good. Liked the eco practices - refillable water from filter in lobby. Clean your room each day on request. There is no air con but a room fan so check the expected temperature when booking.

We were on the top floor and the water pump to our bathroom was quite loud. It was fine as no one in our group was using the bathroom at in inconvenient time. The property is a little bit run down, but to be expected for the price you pay.

Breakfast was excellent, there was a wide variety each day. Vegetarian breakfast was good, personalised omelette, noodles and rice generally available. Lots of fruit. The room was great, very spacious. Location and pools/spa facilities were great. Just as pictured. Bar on the roof was also very nice.

Really friendly staff, we felt well looked after our entire stay. We had an awesome room with a great view above the street, and even though there was traffic outside, we barely heard a thing. Great location, 5 mins walk to everywhere you'd want to go.

Dirty room. Have a lot of cockroaches and insects in the bedroom. I even took photos. They had a hidden fee and tax that I have not seen on other booking before. That costs me about $30 for cleaning and tax but for the worst service ever.
