“Excellent location. Walking distance into Lewes was reasonable. Lewes is a delightful and interesting town with lots of shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs etc. visit The Needlemakers - interesting shops and excellent cafe.”
“The cottage is located in a lovely quiet cul-de-sac, in a delightful and distinctive part of Lewes, away from the centre, yet only a 10 minute walk away from the heart of the town (5 minutes if you hop on the regular bus service). The period cottage itself is very spacious inside with both a conservatory and a small courtyard with outside table and chairs. It has an excellent kitchen and very good bathroom. Within a minute or two’s walk from the cottage are two delightful pubs and a lovely small coffee bar called ‘Hannah’s’. If you wish to stay just outside the busy centre of Lewes in a lovely part of Lewes but within easy walking distance of the centre, I highly recommend this property.”
“As cute as a button! A smaller version of the cottage which featured in the film "The Holiday"! Lovely bird feeder outside the kitchen window. Comfy bed. Only minor downside was the TV is in the bedroom rather than the little sitting room / kitchen. Shower was excellent. Very clean and well equipped.”
