I think the breakfast options could have been split into a Japanese traditional and a western with a Japanese twist. Just so that food isn’t wasted as sometimes you don’t feel like fish for breakfast or even such a large meal.

On arrival at the port you can give them a call to pick you up to take you to the hotel. During the evening you can opt to have dinner in your room which is a lovely experience and the staff are wonderful. Staff are attentive and every time you come into the hotel they will give your shoes a quick clean and freshen up before putting them away in the cupboards. Yukata is provided for your comfort and wear around the hotel. The onsen is also a great place to relax. At night there is a shuttle to see the gate lit up which is a nice addition to do some sightseeing when the tourists have left for the day

The place has the charme of a seaside hotel of past times with rooms that are basically the interiors of a ryokan (and also pretty large). We enjoyed a nice traditional dinner and the staff was super friendly and available for everything we needed. The shuttle service is great! We loved it!

A must to visit! Service was perfect. They pay attention to every detail and this makes you feel as you are in the best place you could ask for in Miyajima. The room was clean, the food was really great (not only the taste, but also how it was presented). Totally recommended!!!

The staff was super attentive, we felt very looked after. Service has beaten the expectations. The pictures are correct. Also there is a coin-operated laundry machine which was very handy.

The rooms were just as in the pictures, and with a wonderful view. We all had yukatas, for free, which added to the experience. The staff was absolutely lovely, and the dinner really very good. The shuttle pickup was well organized, and we enjoyed being a little away from all the action.

The bathroom is a bit outdated however, it is very clean.

The staff was extremely nice. The ocean view from the room was beautiful. There were also deers wandering around. The shuttle bus from the pier to the hotel runs quite often. Upon arrival, you can call for the shuttle bus, give them your luggage to take to the hotel and start visiting right away.

The location was a little far out so you could not just easily walk into town.

The staff and the service were incredible! Facilities were really clean, onsen was great, with the bonus of meals included. Hotel shuttle was really needed and the service was great.

Too short of a time for meals in the evening.

I like that this property is away from the hustle and bustle of “tourist center”. Despite the distance, the hotel offers really good on-demand transportation service. I feel truly on vacation and able to relax in the facility, there’s a sense of calm and traditional Japanese resort feel. Situated next to the waterway with views of fishermen going out to sea in the morning and deer, lots of deer grazing along the edge of water and garden; quaint!
