    “The staff are amazing, very welcoming, pleasant and nice! The food was incredible and all around, 10/10! Without doubt this is the best place to stay if you go to Miyajima. The lady who owns the place is very lovely. This was our best experience in our whole stay in Japan.”

    “Loved the private onsen with the view of the shrine. The hotel was very grand and our room with the view was so spacious and pretty. The restaurant staff were lovely. and the food delicious although mostly seafood which i didnt mind.. The shuttle to the town was handy also.We has tea and red bean snack in our room (provided) which was nice. Relaxing stay in a grand hotel.”

    “This is a traditional house that you have all to yourself. It is quiet, comfortable and in a good location. The breakfast of soup, sandwich and yogurt was delicious.”

    “We had a lovely stay at Sakuraya! The location was ideal, really close to the ferry port and main sites of the island. The room was so tranquil and cosy, we loved being able to lie on our comfy futons with the balcony door open and enjoy the sounds of nature. We were pleasantly surprised that we could use the public bath, as we have tattoos.”

The island itself is an unexpected amazing place to visit and an easy trip from Hiroshima if you are an oyster lover it’s the place for you. This guest house is within easy access to ferry terminals and very central.”
