“Pleasantly landscaped facility just outside Almaty. Stayed in a luxury treehouse, a small comfortable room appointed with the basics. Visited in spring and went horse riding and hiking in the nearby mountains.
Online booking through booking.com was easy enough, but follow-up communication was problematic. Asked to book horse riding and staff said they would relay my requests to the equestrian center. After no confirmation, I followed up a couple of days later and staff said they had now made the appropriate booking. When we arrived, we found there was in fact no booking. We were able to make an immediate appointment, but obviously something needs to be done to better accommodate equestrian bookings. Hose riding was a nice experience but they charged us for 120 minutes and delivered only 80 minutes.”
