“We have stayed in the property before. It’s is owned by a charming couple from Paris, who over the years have renovated this ancient building in near perfect Moroccan style. Everything is very authentic but the plumbing works unlike many ancient buildings. The location inside the Medina is terrific, so quiet, the only noise at night is the Atlantic and everyone’s fields the sea gulls. Essaouira is a windy city, but the food is excellent and good value unless you eat in one of the “western” style restaurants.”
