“Located directly in the stunning dunes. Really comfortable and extraordinary tents with soft beds, own toilet, shower and Wifi. The host Ayub is offering also a fantastic breakfast and dinner. The atmosphare is really familiar and you will have a full service on everything you need.”

“Very peaceful and beautiful hotel right by the dunes. The rooms are clean and spacious, equipped with air conditioning, which was a lifesaver. The staff were very friendly. Do make sure to let them know if you need a pick up when you arrive as I didn’t see any taxi drivers around and had to walk for 35 minutes”

  • Horaz Merzouga Camp Review score: 9.7

“The camp is very beautiful with great facilities. The dinner was amazing, and the music by the fire was a perfect way to end the day. The staff were helpful, and the overall service was top-notch. One thing to be aware of is the heat during the day. If you’re planning to stay for two nights or more, make sure to take that into account and plan accordingly. Another thing is there’s an extra charge for the pick up, but you get to ride a camel (you can choose not to) and watch the sunset which was worth it in my opinion. Overall, this stay was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling through Morocco.”

“The staffs are so welcoming. Barak, Hamid, Ali and the geng are very friendly. Great food. The chef's Lamb tagine very delicious. Excellent scenery and opportunities for trekking the dunes right at door step. Night sky filled with stars. Visit to nomad family, village and the fossil mining a must. Camel ride to see sunset highly advisable. Nice to rest outside the camp in the evening to watch sunset while enjoying mint tea before dinner. This place is magical and everything that it promises and much more. Totally recommend it. We spend 3 night and wish could hv more.”

  • Desert Luxury Camping Review score: 9.4

“Amazing breakfast and dinner and awesome people! The communication was pretty decent beforehand about where to meet up. They set up some nice entertainment during the evening, much as you can expect from other similar places.”

“I loved everything about the location. The food was amazing and the staff were really nice. The tent was big, clean & with a nice view of Erg Chebbi.”

  • Desert Luxury Camping Review score: 9.4

“Desert luxury camping is a very nice place near the desert. The trip from the place where we left the car to the camp was so nice (by camel). You can see lot of big dunes. The tent was big, warm and clean with a very good bed and a nice bathroom. The breakfast was very good and plentiful, while the dinner was acceptable (we are vegetarian and they changed the fixed menù for us). You can have also beer or wine (not so common in Marocco). In general the place was cool and romantic. Parking was free and on the return trip we have used 4x4 car, with lovely deviation to a very big dune (lot of photos). The most relevant think was the kindness of the staff. Hassan was great, he supported all our request, very friendly and helpful”

“An hour camel ride into the desert and a quick stop to watch the sunset. Once at camp you are greeted with tea. Inside the tent is like a fancy hotel room. Food was great. The staff are very friendly and put on a great music show every night. I highly recommend a trip through Best luxury camp.”

“This was an amazing experience! From the beginning on everything was well organized. We preferred to go by jeep instead of camel and that was no problem. Our driver even stopped during the ride to take some pictures! We arrived before the rest of the group so we had the honour of enjoying the empty camp and desert, so see the sunset. A memory we won’t forget! The tent was also super nice with everything you get in a ‘normal’ hotel room. Even toilet and shower were perfect! We were lucky to have a fan in our tent which made it easy to sleep. Dinner in the big tent was very warm and no fans, but after dinner the temperature in the desert was perfect to stay outside for a while and cool off. We met some very kind people there as well and we’re looking back on a great experience!”
