Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomCan be a bit noisy at times, with noise coming from fellow travellers mainly. Otherwise, located in a very quiet part of the Medina.
This is a great riad-style guesthouse. Very hospitable staff and amazing Morrocan breakfasts. Very neat and tidy.

NetherlandsThe location is a bit outside of the centre. However, if you do not mind to walk around 20 minutes it should be fine.
There was a really good breakfast. The staff was nice and helpful, they called a taxi for us to the airport on the last day. Overall the Riad is really clean and it was a nice stay.

United KingdomI think the breakfast was great, the only thing we felt was missing was that we were hoping to get some mint tea. But that's more of a personal want!
The room was amazing for us, we were absolutely thrilled as we wanted to spend a night in a riad while we were in Marrakech! The room was beautifully laid out and very clean. The shower was gorgeous, such an unexpected highlight of the whole thing. Our room opened onto the courtyard so it was great waking up in the morning to that.

United Kingdomdoors weren't particularly thick so could sometimes hear people walking around at night or people outside but overall not much of an issue
Staff were very helpful and friendly, walking us to and from our taxis, booking taxis for us, providing us with directions and overall very welcoming. Breakfast was more than expected and very yummy. Rooms were cleaned everyday and beds were nice and cosy.

United KingdomAll was good.
Amazing staff, great facilities. On arrival the area seemed a bit run down but by the second day we got used to the dark, narrow streets, it is typical for the Medina. Everyone is friendly and respect tourists. The Riad itself was beautiful, clean and comfy. Fully recommended.

ChinaThere was a lot of noise from other guests in the morning and there is just no way of not hearing them because of how the Riad is built .
I like Riads, there is something very unique about them. The room was warm an intimate

United KingdomCheck-in experience was quick and efficient, they offered us tea while we were waiting. Room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was good although lacking some protein (probably just Moroccan breakfast in general though!). We went in August and it was too hot to take advantage of the roof terrace, but it looked very nice.

AustraliaThe only thing we felt could be improved was the breakfast, possibly could have more variety and fresh fruit or eggs. However, it was a nice breakfast anyway. Thank you
The room was beautifully clean and had a lovely Moroccan ambience. It had all the amenities and a great AC. Mostafa, the maitre d’, was just the loveliest person who catered to our needs and was incredibly friendly and warm. I’d recommend this Riad for anyone wanting to stay close to the main square but looking for a quiet place to sleep.

AustraliaThe breakfast was suffice but mostly bread and cake. There are minimal grocery stores or places to buy fresh food nearby, but if you plan on eating at restaurants every meal than I guess it's ok. No kettle or fridge in room.
Very peaceful spot away from super busy areas, only 10 minutes walk to main Medina areas though. Easy walk from Medina gates (where driver drops you) to hotel, and if arriving at night (which I did) someone from the hotel came and met me from the driver, which was very helpful. Nice common areas of library, courtyard, rooftop etc.

United KingdomRoom on the ground floor is a bit dark and the area is quite far from the main attractions.
The riad was amazing, very nice style and incredible terrace. Staff was nice and very polite. Our room was on the ground floor and a bit too dark since we had no natural light coming through the windows, only the sound of people having breakfast in the morning. The area felt a bit sketchy at some point but overall we had a good stay.

United KingdomThought we booked a twin room, but double was comfortable.
A beautiful place to stay! Short walk through alleys from taxi. Mint tea and biscuits while we completed paperwork. Very comfortable and clean throughout. It's approx 3 properties, all connected. Bedrooms and bathrooms very smart and comfortable. Roof terrace was very comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection of sweet items and bread with jam, served with coffee all carefully presented. About 20 min walk from main medina. Kids can be a bit of a nuisance (however, we enjoyed football kick about!) but felt safe walking in evening.

United KingdomEverything was PERFECT! The Riad is beautiful (even more beautiful then the photos which is crazy!!!) the breakfast is delicious and has a great variety of food, everyday there was fresh bread, pancakes, homemade DELICIOUS cake, the room exceeded all our expectations and are even more beautiful then the pictures, beds were extremely comfortable and there are no words for the bathroom (INCREDIBLE). But that is not even the best part about this Riad, the best part was the STAFF! the most amazing, kind, smiley, patient (we were 11 people staying there) and thoughtful staff, always there for us when we needed something and always ready to help. On my next trip to Marrakesh I will definitly be staying there! 100000/10

NetherlandsThere is no 24/7 reception, so when you come back to the Riad, you have to ring a bell. The bell is audible in the whole riad, also early morning or in the middle of the night. Location is okay, but not very close to the center (20-25 minutes)

NetherlandsWe had a room on the ground floor that was located right next to the breakfast area (which was also on the way to enter and exit the building), so it was quite noisy. Also, you enter the front door by ringing the doorbell instead of having a key, which made that we woke up when we were asleep and other people entered the riad.
The staff was super friendly and helpful, they really accommodated to our wishes. The room was cleaned (and even tidied) for us every day, which is great. Breakfast was perfect.
