Great location and near tourist information (if that's what you need) easy to find from bus/train station. Easy going staff and quick check in. Comfy bed in small corner room with large enough sized shower room. Tea kettle with selection of teabags, nespresso machine with cups and two bottles of still water standard in the room. Unfortunately couldn't find the safe in my room. Loads of terraced restaurants and pubs nearby and it looks the perfect setting for warmer days.

AC was a little old and made the room temperature a bit variable but didn’t really affect the trip.

Conveniently located in Groningen city centre, 10-15 minutes easy walk from the station, staff were extra friendly and helpful, free tea and coffee in reception is a nice touch. Extra comfy bed, nice room service, great to have nespresso machine in room.

Although the Sauna and Steam bath are excellent there is a lack of hand held shower and can not be adjusted in temperature. Unfortunately the experience of sauna and cold water is therefor not available. There was a cold water shower outside but there is no lighting at night and also not hand held. The breakfast can use a little update, the muesli station is missing the extra ingredients like nuts and seeds. Fresh fruit is only melon and there is no variety in the eggs, scrambled or boiled it is. The pancakes were obviously microwave heated and therefor chewy to eat. The rooms are a little cramped with a view at a wall.

The location is excellent, nice building and very friendly staff. Renting bikes is a nice service as is a little discount on the high parking costs of Groningen. It has a nice lobby for a drink at night.

Noisy when the windows in the room are open, because of the bars in the neighborhood.

Breakfast was good and luxurious. The location was in the center of Groningen and we were able to visit a lot of places by foot. The staff was very friendly and proactive.

The sauna was too hot and the Turkish bath could have instructions on how to use it.

The location is really great, right next to the canal and the centre. The staff is extremely friendly and have answered my questions in a timely manner. The hotel was clean, the rooms as well. The breakfast was quite big: you could choose from different options of meals.

room was very very cold. their heating system is not adequate. a small vent that blows warm air towards the ceiling, makes ton of noise and the room never got warmer.

On arrival, the receptionist didn't know where the room is and charged us more than quoted,however, the morning receptionist spotted it and rectified it.

The desk in my room was sticky and visibly dirty. The view from the room is probably lovely in the evening with the lights on the old wall but during the day with a view of a staircase and storage boxes, it was not very welcoming.

The room had a very small worktable and light in the room wasn’t sufficient. Since I had to work at nights, it was very difficult with such poor lighting.

There was just one minor thing. The coffee maker in the room did not work, but I forgot to let them know. I just went downstairs where plenty of coffee and tea was available.

We are architects and always appreciate contemporary design. The hotel was great from location, staff m, breakfast, and the room itself.
