  • “The golf course was beautiful. Breakfast was good. The hotel has a nice look and feel. It was reasonably priced.”

  • “The staff were exceptional and on call 24/7!! The hotel had plenty of amenities for both young and old. The dinners we had at Indya and the Floating Restaurant were amazing! I couldn’t get enough of the crepes that were at the breakfast buffet. One of our main reasons for the visit was the hike up Le Morne and the hotel was perfectly located.”

  • Shanti Maurice Resort & Spa Review score: 5

    “Dated. Need updating.”

  • Tamassa Bel Ombre Review score: 9

“The staff were very attentive and helpful wherever you were (restaurant, beach, bar etc.) They had a good eye for detail and made it a really pleasant experience to be at the hotel. The food options were good and we liked the 3.30 afternoon tea which helped with the gap between lunch and dinner (we have 2 young children) The burger truck is a nice touch and so is the ice cream parlour. There's access to refill your water on the beach which is handy. The kids loved the outdoor big games too. We didn't get chance to do the activities but appreciated the offer.”

  • “The beach and setting in which the hotel is located is absolutely stunning. The clarity of the sea, and the way that the palm trees meet the ocean - all with the backdrop of Le Morne - is idyllic. The gym and sports facilities are excellent, with separate rooms for resistance/ weight training, cardio machines and a standalone mirrored studio. There are 2 table tennis tables and (if I recall correctly) 6 tennis courts. Staying at Paradis Beachcomber means that you also have access to the facilities and restaurants of the sister hotel next door, Dinarobin Beachcomber. Some of the staff are helpful, with special shout outs to Anne-Kate, Farudh, Manoj, Bass and Mary J.”

  • “Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, really nice restaurants. The gardens are beautiful, the room is big, though little too dark. We had amazing days there. You have also the possibilities to do snorkeling, stand up paddle and other kind of stuffs. The spa is also great. Check in process could bet a little bit faster.”

  • “Resort was located in nice area with amazing Le Morne mountain view”

  • LUX* Le Morne Resort Review score: 10

  • La Vieille Cheminee Review score: 10

“Such a fabulous location so peaceful and full of bird song and wonderful staff who all appreciated the land, animals and birds. Comfortable rooms and great breakfast with local fruits etc. we are so sad to leave and hope to return to one of the new buildings which have a fabulous view across the valley.”

  • “Lakaz Chamarel is in a unique location, almost hidden in a beautiful valley on the edge of the Black River National Park. It is set in fabulous tropical gardens. We received a warm friendly welcome and all the staff were so kind and helpful. Food at the pretty restaurant and at the bar is very good and sunsets can be enjoyed at the Seaview Bar at the top of the hill, looking out to sea and mountains.”
