    “Great location, just a few minutes walk to the town center. Landlady is very friendly and live next door. The house is very Japanese style and that is what we are looking for. It has a parking but unfortunetaly we couldnot hire a car due to licence issue. Rooms are cold in winter as there are only portable heaters and need to turn off during sleep. Guess that is what we need to deal with in order to trade off for an Japanese tranditional house.”

Stepping inside, you're greeted by the delightful aroma of cedar wood, and the bathroom offers a stunning view of the surrounding forest. The bed is wonderfully cozy, ensuring a restful night's sleep. With picturesque vistas of the woods and the soothing sound of a nearby stream, it's a serene retreat. Moreover, the host, a warm and helpful woman, truly enhances the experience. Thanks to her hospitality, my time in Tsumagoi was incredibly joyful.”

    “The best accommodation we stayed in with my family in the month we were in Japan. I highly recommend it. It was close to the train station, spacious, bright, extremely clean, with enough beds, air conditioners, kitchen utensils, washing machine, a projector lamp with remote control in the main room. A large table, western style chairs. Television with youtube access. We loved it. We highly recommend it. With parking for those who travel by car.”

    “A very interesting concept. Two bedrooms and toilet/shower on ground floor. Dining, kitchen and TV areas on the upper floor. A spare bedroom (tatami and futon) on the upper floor. The children loved it! They cooked breakfast and bantered at the dining area. Layout facilitates interaction.”

    “It was a perfect stay! The house was so clean and full of useful amenities, everthing is new and comforting. Both the inside and outside of the house had everything we needed. It is a great place to spend a snow holiday. Denis was a great and welcoming host and took care of anything and beyond. Highly recommended!”

    “The room was very spacious and clean. I like the living room and bathroom area the most. As for the bedroom, it is considered a very good night's sleep. The room owner is very friendly. Well......If I come to Gunma again, I would like to choose to use this place again.”

    “A spacious house by Japanese standards. Modern Japanese style with four beds and two lounges. Main bedroom can be partitioned. Kitchen is large and has everything you need + a table. Living/dining has a larger table. Bathroom with bath and separate toilet. Easy contact with lovely owner. The house is warm and inviting. 8 minute walk to Yubatake and the centre of town.”
