    “Original accomodation”

“Our room had the stream view and the sound of the stream was relaxing. The room was pretty big; had a dining, sleeping and an area where you can keep your suitcases. And I'm not even talking about the entrance and the toiler area. It was very very spacious and authentic. Public onsen at the ryokan had 2 indoor pools but had no cold water pool. The public onsen is pretty authentic. I didn't have a chance to experience the private onsen. The dinner served in our room was beautiful and we were full right before the end. There were plenty of food served and some of them were art pieces. Staff was verry helpful and lovely. I think the average age of the staff were around 60 or 70 but they were managing pretty nicely. It was like staying at your grandparents where they did everything to make you feel comfortable.”

“A though the price is a little high, and the room wasn’t as big as it says on the booking.com. But the room was prepared with Kosei’s lotion and other things, also with some sore patches for us to use.”

“The breakfast and dinner experience was just super awesome. A private onsen is a must; the view was just awesome. Being able to wear a fukata was good also.”

  • “The food was excellent. It is more slanted towards "western" tastes than the food at the many ryokans that we had been staying at, but as our stay was at the end of our two-week trip and a change from what we had been eating, it was actually welcome as re-entry. We are walkers and did not use the shuttle bus, but having it available would be perfect for many. The museums in the area are quite wonderful and well worth visiting. The roo”

“The meal-include option is highly recommended as the hotel serves authentic Japanese (washoku), both on dinner and breakfast. Some of the dishes are pre-prepared and served before guests enter the restaurant and only have a single menu (it is why you need to pick a time for meal when check-in). And most of all, hot spring! It is my first hot spring experience in Japan and I must say it totals meet my expectation. The public outdoor bath has beautiful view and even features a garden. The private bath is also recommended particularly for couple or family to enjoy the time just for themselves. I also quite like their store. Yutaka is a must in every hot spring hotel in Japan so totally not surprised, but they even have Haori? I just could't restrain myself to grab one that I think is a good addition with my own yutaka.”

“Overall it was wonderful. Location, staff, facilities and rooms were awesome! Valet parking, had help with bringing luggage to room, unique drinks and custum sizing of yukatas and sandals. Great hospitality and all staff were very friendly. Onsens were very nice bonus.”

“Our room was so big, spacious, and comfortable. We loved staying there. The balcony was so nice and the views so pretty. The private bath in our room was so nice and amazing to use. The dinner was so delicious and filling. Like, definitely come hungry to the dinner. Also, we loved all the free snacks after using the onsens, like the milk (the brown milk is coffee-flavored and tastes like a mocha latte; amazing!), the popsicles, and the Yakult. We also got free snacks after the dinner. Oh we also loved wearing their clothes, which were like these cotton/linen sets that were so amazingly comfortable, I honestly wanted to buy a set. I also loved the private onsens (there are 3). I also loved the public onsens too. I have small tattoos, but it was okay to use the public baths after I covered them with bandages. Also the breakfast was also amazing and delicious.”
