    “It was a really good price and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. They were extremely warm and welcoming. The whole dorpie was warm and receptive and I felt like part of the family after the weekend was done. It was clean and tidy and some of the older pieces in the room are solid wood and actually quite beautiful and unexpected for a backpackers.”

    “The food was well prepared and thought out. We had the luxury of having it brought to us in our room which unfortunately meant we had to reheat it as it was a little cold on arrival - the fault of the evening chill not the chef or staff. A cloche would be beneficial for future room service in the cold season. Loved the braai area - perfect for viewing the carpet of stars. Cosy blankets and bedding.”
