  “It has a 24-hour reception so there was somewhere to go when the ship from Helsinki arrived at 4 a.m. They had my room ready early, by around 12 pm. They also let me switch the breakfast from the day or leaving to the day of arriving, since on the final morning I wouldn't have had time to eat it. The breakfast offering was good. The room was as new, very good.”

  “We had two rooms facing the hotel interior courtyard, street level. These were dream rooms for persons arriving on the island. The rooms were quiet, clean and simple: nothing too much, but everything essential. Practicality in Åland manner as it's best. Breakfast was good. We fell asleep to the "spring concert" of sea gulls.”
