  • The Redstone Inn and Suites Review score: 10

“I loved that this is an old historic building with an interesting story. Robert , the owner, who is the only staff member is very interesting to talk to. He gave me a detailed history of the inn as well as Dubuque. The breakfast is amazing & exceptionally good coffee ( rare in America in my experience). Within walking distance of lots of sites, Monk bar which is good for a relaxed drink & close to restaurants. Easy parking”

  • Sleep Inn Review score: 1

“The room was horrible and dirty. Boogers on the walls trash on the floor and under the bed. Hair on the pillows and sheets.”

  • Comfort Inn Review score: 4

“Location was fine. Breakfast was great.”

  • “The hot breakfast was amazing, bacon, scrambled eggs, and there's a Mexican restaurant within1 minute walking distance. The beds were comfortable, the hotel was very clean in general and all the staff very friendly. This shows up as a 2-star hotel in the searches, but honestly this is a 4-star hotel in my opinion (and I've stayed in all kinds of hotels before).”

  • “Location, quiet, breakfast, supportive staff, big room, top king size bed”

  • South Shore Inn Review score: 8

“We liked the close location to the Sports Center. The pool area was enjoyable and the staff was very friendly and kind.”
