My only negative comment is that our boom had a locked door between us and the next room with no soundproofing

Our only complaint was that the wine lists were limited. Plenty of basic wines, but if you wanted something a little nicer, there wasn't much on offer.

A great resort with multiple pools, great views and super friendly staff. A terrific variety of restaurants and places to eat.

The hotel needs renovation. The beach was low tide affected most of the day. A green snake was sharing the beach paradise with us on our first morning, which was creating a discomfort for the rest of our stay.

Beautiful scenery, staff very well trained and well behaving, high quality spa. The nature in the resort and surroundings is really awesome.

The only negative is the beach. It looks lovely in the pictures but there are lots of rocks just under the surface. It's not safe to swim there.

The hotel is lovely. The staff couldn't be more helpful. The facilities are great and the prices not too bad.

Location is very good as well as the services in hotel or right nearby - like massages, snorkelling, bars. All in all this is a very good mix of resort - good lay-out of pools for each group of clients, never crowded

The food was ok. Taxi was 1700 baht to the airport- 1300 only if you took 10 steps outside. Shame that they feel the need to make a mark up on that. Food and drink is quite expensive overall.

Breakfast was excellent. Overall the standard of the food was ok, but certainly not 5 star, in my opinion.

Beautiful resort in a private. Quiet beach location 15 minutes from the business of Patong Beach. Fabulous breakfasts and other meals. Also nice restaurants outside up the road with beautiful views over Patong Beach . Fabulous pools.

We found the hotel to be extremely overpriced with prices that you would find in Europe, not in Thailand. We were particularly surprised by the cost for laundry. Also, we would have liked to see some more evening activities.

We really enjoyed our stay! The privet beach was the best feature with great options for snorkeling, SUPing or canoeing. So many options with activities during the day plus a fully equipped gym. The staff was very helpful and the rooms extremely comfortable and clean with a lot of amenities.

There are always opportunities for improvement. During our most recent stay in December 2023, several staff members seemed to be very new and in training, which is completely fine, however, there were only a few staff members that seemed to have seasoned experience who could help answer non-routine requests and questions. Additionally, during this stay, if you didn't make a reservation at the restaurant a day or two ahead of time, there were very limited dining options. A la carte options were very limited. Recommend to revaluate and enhance dining experiences for guests. There also appeared to be several no shows at restaurants for reservations, which impacts guests and the hotel.

Facility was amazing! We are a repeat family over the last two Christmas holidays. Pool, private beach, and breakfast options were amazing. Hope to be back soon.

The constant barrage of christmas music was annoying, especially at 22:00 in the evening Loud clattering noises under our room (we were in 2319) as one of the food spots was under our room (went well into midnight) Breakfast buffet was definitely not the best

Loved how secluded it was, close to the bustling Bangla/Patong areas but far enough to not be a nuisance. Loved how cooperative and helpful the staff were despite being the busiest time of the year. LOVED the spa. Great internet speeds. Wide spaces and full of activities. Friendly charm all over

This property is located at the quiet Merlin Beach, which is a short drive from hustle bustle at Patong. Plenty of facilities / activities available, eg snorkeling, kayaking, table tennis. There is a kids’ club which offers activities and games for the children whole day long. Good selection of restaurants if we choose to dine within the property.

Rooms were nice and well appointed but not luxurious enough for the price that was charged.

Lovely service with good food and a lovely vibe. Staff were very polite and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and cater to our requests.

We stayed one week in this hotel with the all inclusive package, which I recommend. All was ok. A special thanks to Matt from the Beach grill restaurant for his professionalism, proactive attitude and kindness and Nina from the Rum Shack for her smile, her dedication and her kindness.

Nothing at all. Maybe it’s location which is a little secluded. Then again, everything available in the hotel. You don’t feel like leaving the place at all. Another thing, the price is a little at the high end. Yet… it’s worth the money to spend.

The staffs were so friendly and helpful. The hotel room was beautiful, spacious and clean. The kids club had a lot of fun activities for the kids, staffs were all so friendly and engaging. The gym was awesome. Love the cold face towel ready for the gym user. It had a great lemongrass smell which was so good & refreshing. There’s so many fun activities all around the hotel available for us to enjoy play for free. Even the beach is so beautiful. Definitely not for you to swim, but a slow walk along the corals are just so amazing. Not forgetting the full board meal, No Regrets!! It’s simply so relaxing and a fun retreat for my family and I.

There isn’t much around the hotel and the closest town is Patong which isn’t great. The Thai food at the Thai Pantry was also a little disappointing.

The coral reef was incredible, I strongly recommend snorkelling during high tide to get the full experience. The rum shack is also excellent. We were away on our honeymoon and the staff made an effort to make it even more special.

The hotel shuttle bus could have been more frequent and have gone to other locations (like the old town) rather than just Patong.

We loved the beach by the hotel..it was perfect for snorkeling and there aren't many hotels with their own private beach. We also loved the rum shack for a few drinks in the evening.
