We were in Room 1. The bathroom is in need of some renovation and a little more TLC would go a long way in making the accommodation outstanding. Little things like the plug missing from the basin, dirt trapped in the grouting and around the shower screen. A dangerous hole where the drainage trap is, missing shelves, etc. Our friends in Room 2 and 3 also had bathrooms that need renovations and TLC. In Room 2, the curtains had not been put back in place properly and she had to re-hook them in order for them to close. The locks on the patio doors are a bit flimsy and hard to open. The garden needs a little bit of weeding, but other than that, we really enjoyed our 3 night stay.

Excellent location, within easy reach of the wine farms in Stellenbosch. Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Lovely grounds and excellent patio to watch the sunsets. We didn't use the pool as the weather wasn't great, but it looked nice, clean and well maintained. The rooms have very comfortable beds, mini fridge, tea/coffee, decent size wine glasses and a complimentary bottle of wine and bottled water. There is a TV, but we didn't turn it on. Good Wi-Fi and a stunning breakfast each morning. They have a nice restaurant on site, but we only had breakfast there.

Room was rather dark and shady, but perhaps that is an advantage in the hotter months. Being from the UK, we would have preferred a little more sunlight!

Excellent location. Good for vineyards, Somerset West, Stellenbosch and half an hour from Cape Town airport. Very quiet. Back up lighting, power and Wi-Fi during load shedding. Spacious rooms with lounge area and patio. Lovely gardens and pool. Excellent restaurant on site.

The wifi was a bit slow. I tried working from the restaurant, ended up using my phone. On the other-hand it was for free.

Check in was simple, the staff was friendly, parking was easy and near the room. We received a complementary bottle of water and wine in our fridge. There was some coffee for the morning. The room, bathroom and "living" room was very neat and clean. The breakfast at the restaurant was very good. Would recommend this accommodation if traveling in the area.

The Cottage furniture was very uncomfortable! Think whoever selected it had never sat in a comfortable chair. The cushions didn't fit well on the patio chairs, which in turn didn't fit well with the patio table!

Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant on site was excellent. Delicous meals, friendly staff. Room no 10 was very spacious, besides the bedroom there was a lounge and terrace. Garden is beautiful, pool clean and fresh.

A beautiful and spacious room with a lovely bathroom. The complimentary bottle of wine in the room was a pleasant surprise and was appreciated given that we were in a group attending a wedding and it was nice to socialise on our patios while we were getting ready. Very friendly staff and a good breakfast selection included the next morning.
