“While in town for the 121st Canton Fair, a great choice of hotels for the family party. Albeit we had to use the local language name of the hotel with the Taxi driver as it didn't seem to be one of the hotels on his list of most well known, when we got there ... recognised straight away that it was the right call to stay there. Very clean throughout ... rooms very well appointed ... very peaceful ... bath & shower worked well ... the reception staff were more than happy (at no extra cost) to store our bags for the day when we checked out so that we could travel lightly around town. We tried the restaurant on the evening which was very good HOWEVER the menu could have been easier to read / use ... it must have been 25 pages deep which, when choosing what you wanted, made it somewhat difficulty to jump between the options available / chosen. Wine was good ... beer cold. The highlight for us ... the bar staff in the ground floor bar and restaurant. We stopped there a few times for beers / cocktails ... they were funny, helpful, engaging and generally, very responsive. Great people to spend time with.”
