The staff were so sweet. The hotel is walking distance from the beach, but you can taxi to Padang Padang for the big surf, which is 20 mins away. Service, service, service...first of all, Sarah the manager and Oscar the chef were a dynamic duo. Sarah brings her youthful enthusiasm to the stay mixed with her earth mother concern for the guests and elegant old school European approach to hospitality. Lively and witty Oscar makes it his highest priority to provide the guests with edible delights by waking up at dawn to go the local market so that the guests will wake up to fresh fruits and extremely healthy and tasty dishes. As the main dish, you could choose from a choice of eggs or a daily specialty dish that Oscar creates, and there was always fruit and other chef-made goodies that you could wash down with free flowing freshly pressed Bali coffee made available by Sarah. (By the way, Oscar’s lime sorbet with mango on Nyepi night was unforgettable.) The open airy design of the Villa, and quite pleasant tactile feel of walking barefoot (if you choose to) on the very clean tile and wooden stairs to the rooms and the wooden flooring around the pool were all so great. Waking up to the smell of coffee and enjoying the breakfast with other guests--it felt like one big family--exchanging travel ideas around the area and then to have Sarah readily make suggestions and arrangements for the day's adventures could not have been any more ideal! This is what a Villa stay should be like. My compliments to the owners--who happen to be away during our stay-- for the great design of the place, sweet smelling towels and bedding, and to have the wherewithal to have Sarah and Oscar there to make it all work!”

“It is such an adorable place. Althought it stays close to the main road, markets, restaurants and cheap and super perfumed laundry, it is such a quiet place! Fernando is a lovely host. This was the first place I stayed I after arriving in Bali, and he represented pretty well the south of this island: easy going, kind and cool. The garden is lovely, the communal kitchen is of good help and also a nice place to interact with the other guests. Good atmosphere, only met cool people there. They rented motorbikes for a fair price, and it is very easy to go around all the beaches from there. The room is simple but comfy. Nice little restaurants around. I would definitely go back there if I had more time! Highly recommended.”

“This accommodation was perfect for us. It is situated a short walk away from a cliff top which over looks Bingin beach and from which we watched the most magnificent sunset . The villa is owned by a lovely couple who welcomed us warmly and were exceptionally accommodating when we made an error with our booking dates. Breakfast is made daily by Wayan who comes in to tidy through and who was very polite and helpful. Also, Putu who manages the accommodation was helpful in helping us sort a couple of things such as where to change up money locally. The private salt water pool and garden area was lovely and made the whole stay at Aloha beach house extra special. The two closest beaches can be accessed from the cliff walk and takes around 15 - 20 mins to reach either Bingin or Dreamlands, walking along the beach. The local restaurant, the Cashew Tree, serves healthy, delicious food, drinks and snacks, although can get busy and there is nothing else within walking distance of the property . We plan to return to Bali in the future and would definitely plan to stay here again , although would next time hire mopeds to get around the local area. Whilst staying at this property, we would recommend eating at one of the beach BBQ restaurants on the beach.”

“One word, Amazing! If you want to stay in a private spacious authentic Balinese style villa then look no further! Designed and built by the owner with her bare hands,this villa is tastefully designed and furnished with great attention to detail with raw materials and artistic charm. The pool is amazing and the property is well kept. The staff were very helpful and attentive, offering refreshments such as drinks, fruit platters, coffee and tea throughout the day. The owner of the property, Noor was lovely and called to check everything was OK and if we needed anything, even allowing a late checkout at no extra cost. Traditional breakfast was on offer and was cooked in the morning with a choice of eggs and fresh bread and condiments. The small touches are what made the experience so fantastic and it was a nice feeling being away from a "hotel/resort" and to have something more secluded and private. The location itself is closest to Green Bowl beach (if you can brave the steps!) and is also a 15 minute drive to Finn's beach club, Blue Point beach, Padang Padang etc. The one thing that blew me away was the sheer size of the property, rooms and furnishings... It definitely exceeded my expectations and we great value for money. Whether it be a couples retreat or something for a larger group with children - this accommodation will definitely suit your needs. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!”

“We had a short rest here by big company and liked everything. Everything was perfect - service, location, cleanness and so on. Villa is very nice and comfortable, including big pool area. We also rented a car here and visited some gorgeous beaches around this area. It was very good rest.”
