“Lovely hosts. The flat was very well laid out and has everything you need to make toast and have cereal. Nice and warm too and very quiet. There is also a beautiful garden with a fantastic summer house positioned so that you can see the sea and the cliffs. Very comfortable in there too, we had drinks in there every night, so it was just perfect and very memorable. Fantastic location, just the right place actually in Robin Hoods Bay. The bus stops nearby and you can travel to Whitby or Scarborough, so handy.”

“The property was modern, clean and comfortable. The added extras within the apartment made it feel very homely. Very spacious and smelled amazing! We felt secure as there were several doors to get through to get into the apartment and parking was right next to the apartment. There’s a taxi firm located outside of the building who were very efficient. We will definitely be back☺️”

    “Huge breakfast. Lovely location”

  • Black Bull Inn Review score: 8.3

“First off, the location is amazing; it's lovely and it's right in the middle of everything. I was in the Branwell room and the window looked out onto the church yard. Lovely and peaceful. If you're interested in all things Bronte, the hotel is right next to the church and a very short stroll to the Parsonage museum and the school where Charlotte taught. Further out, it's at the start of walks to Bronte Bridge and Top Withens. A short walk down the hill takes you to Howarth railway station on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway and all things Railway Children related. The staff were lovely and the breakfasts were good, you note what you want (and what time you want to eat) on a sheet the night before and it's all ready. The room had everything and the bed was very comfortable.”
