We don't even know where to start - our time at the homestay was full of incredible homemade food, amazing trips around Matale with or recommended by the hosts and overall remarkable, inspiring experiences. At Pearl's Homestay you won't be missing anything: cultural experiences by visiting nearby temples, an ancient village (thanks Ranjan!) and the art of Sri Lankan food (thanks Pearly!), nature by visiting the stunning Knuckles mountains or discovering every day life in Matale, a very non-touristic city which has a lot to offer (public swimming pool, tiny gym in the mountains (ask for Ashan), spice gardens etc.). The accommodation is just perfect, it's new and has everything you need, and if you're missing something, Ranjan and Pearly always helped us out with everything.
This is a strong recommendation to visit this place, it was by far our highlight of a month in Sri Lanka.”
