  • The County Review score: 9

“We stayed in the Northbridge, which is 200yds away from the County on the main road, you could drive round and park outside. Our room was a large studio with kitchen and shower room. Access to the room and the building was via a key pad, so no key to remember. Breakfast was served in the County.”

    “Location”

  • “Efficient and quick check-in; we were informed of meal times, facilities and checkout time. The hotel is well situated close to the railway station and is a short walk from the centre of Durham. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food we were served was well prepared and tasty.”

  • “We had a very comfortable room with en suite facilities right in the centre of the village.”

  • The Manor House Inn Review score: 10

“The location was fantastic with the views unreal, especially from our window waking up, which was too good (top left window on the pic). Food had plenty of options and tasted lovely. Only stayed one night. However, the staff could not do enough for you even in the morning for breakfast. Most importantly, they did morretti on tap, ha 😆 thanks for a great stay”

  • Homelands Guest House Review score: 10

  • Tudhoe Park House Review score: 10

“The property is ideally located for visiting Durham. Hosts made us very welcome and both the bedroom & bathroom had everything that you could wish for: comfortable bed & pillows, large shower with lovely fluffy towels. The room was exceptionally clean with very quiet surroundings. I particularly liked the homemade shortbread provided by the owners! Lots of choice for breakfast to set you up for the day.”
