    “This is the most travel friendly accommodation we have ever stayed at. Effie & Chris are the kindest, most helpful and efficient hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and no problem too hard to solve eg. storing luggage, booking reservations, taxis, allowing us a later checkout after we were bumped off our flight and even helping us to navigate their excellent app guide. This beautiful stylish property catered for our every need faultlessly. The location is right in the centre of town and there is even a self serve laundry opposite and I think car parking can be made by arrangement. There is little noise from the street due to the soundproofing and there is a lift for easy access with luggage. Top marks for cleanliness, comfort, communication and facilities, all of which worked perfectly in this beautiful modern apartment. We highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back next year”

    “Ourania apartments are on the outskirts of a small but bustling resort town, a peaceful location with little to disturb the peace. The bar and cafe area has olive trees growing on the patio to provide shade from the sun where you can get a nice breakfast or dinner in the evening. Drinks are very reasonably priced, as is everything on Crete. Just a short walk from the local beach. Some reviews complain that the walk is a long one up a steep hill back to the hotel, in reality it’s at most a three minute walk up a very gentle slope, barely noticed. The rooms are modern and comfortable, the staff are warm and friendly. We loved our holiday there.”

    “The accommodation was great. We had a huge, comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the wonderfully large and deep pool, which in May was plenty warm enough to stay in for a long swim, something I so enjoyed every day! The location was blissfully quiet but within easy walking distance to a good selection of tavernas. You could walk 20 minutes further and find even more places to eat and drink. It was also easy to drive to some local, quiet beaches, or to drive up into the mountains. There was a great choice of food at the included buffet breakfast: everything you could have wanted from hot to cold with ample selection for vegetarians too. The whole place was also spotlessly clean, thanks in part to Marinilda, the very thorough, and indeed personable, cleaning lady. A big thank you also to the owners, Thanos and Katerina who were exceptionally charming, informative and helpful.”
