“The hosts at Yakunoyado Taguchi were amazing and kind. Shigeru picked me up from the port and I found the area relatively easy to walk around and explore. There is a bus to take you around, too, if you want. Taxis are not easy to secure if you don't rent a car. I wish I had made a reservation for meals! I was sad to miss out on the hostess' cooking (entirely my fault). Be sure to let them know two days in advance.
Amazingly, Shigeru was able to take me around the island, for a very reasonable fee, and I got to see *so* much I otherwise would not. I was so lucky! It was a magical day.”
“The staff was really helpful. The guesthouse is in the middle of nowhere BUT the scenery around is beautiful and you have a bus stop nearby as well as a cafe which is really nice. Because there isn't many buses and shops around the guesthouse provides food and bento to buy at a reasonable price so you don't have to stress about that !
The bedroom was clean and confortable as well as the common space.
I recommend :)”
“Really cool place, very comfortable. Plus there whole green initiatives are very nice to support!
Plus the rooftop is pretty neat with an amazing view on the volcano and a nice place to hangout and meet fellow travelers.”
