  • Hostal Rio Amazonas Review score: 10

“From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. The place is very clean, well kept, colorful and decorated with taste. Really feels like being home away from home.”

  • Hostel Boutique Merced 88 Review score: 9

“The room was clean and tidy with a heater, which was much needed! Bathrooms were always clean and stocked and the kitchen was very well equipped and run (everyone was expected to wash their own dishes, fridge required food to be labelled with name and departure date etc) The breakfast was more than enough and had choices of cereals/oats, yoghurt, fruit, bread, cheese, and deli meat. Staff were super lovely and always eager to help. You do need to ring the bell to get in at night but there’s always someone at the desk to let you in.”

  • Eco-Hostal Tambo Verde Review score: 9

“Eco-Hostal Tambo Verde had so much character, the entire stay was delightful. The staff was extremely helpful, and breakfast was simple but satisfying. I loved our room with two futon beds on a lofted platform, great for friends traveling together.”

  • Hotel Capital Bellet Review score: 9

“The room was really big and quiet. Location was excellent as well. Near to very good restaurants and supermarkets. They offered us a room with to beds, and no cost. I thought it was sweet from the guys in the reception.”

  • Hotel Brasilia Review score: 1

    “I did not like”

  • “Very nice and comfortable rooms - very clean overall . I missed some amenities in the room which I think should come 'as a standard' and I missed a kettle / water cooker. While the room has a coffee maker - this is not a making a nice hot cup of coffee or tea. Rather move back to an effective cooker than a 'fancy' coffee unit that does not 'do the job'. When you stay in this hotel do visit the 17th floor at sunset for stunning views over the Andes mountain range!”
