    “We had an unforgettable experience at Kaisuitei. The hotel location is excellent, views to the lake from our bedroom were stunning, and the top floor onsen and views to Fiji were super special. I loved having kimonos to fully immerse in the culture. Breakfast was an extraordinary experience too. Although it's an expensive experience, I will cherish my stay forever.”

    “The room was very cozy with a breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The onsen was very nice. The hotel is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from the train station and within walking distance of the lake and several restaurants. The view of Mt. Fuji from the lake is amazing! The restaurant offers a good breakfast with both Japanese and Western dishes. The view from the restaurant includes a stunning view of Mt. Fuji.”

    “Great position to visit the area as is nearby bus and tram stations. The cabin is quite large and the bed is comfortable, toilets clean and with lots of showers. Washing and drying machine available. Convenience store right next door.”

    “I stayed here and enjoyed a perfect view of Mt. Fuji! The staff is very welcoming and attentive. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, and the rooms are simple and clean. The free e-bike rentals are a must for sightseeing, and they even allow for sunrise bookings if you inquire the night before. It's also worth booking the private outdoor bath, as it's super relaxing, and the view is incredible. They also found a way to go above and beyond to help. Touching and welcoming services, and artistic vibes. Amazing view of Mount. Fuji in onsen, sky bar and in the room. Everything makes you feel comfortable and happy to be there. I will definitely recommend to everyone who wants to enjoy a perfect holiday.”

    “The hostel felt very homey and peaceful. It is perfect for resting after a long day of exploring. Machiko-san was an amazing host. She established easy to understand guidelines that promote the peacefulness and cleanliness of the hostel. She made sure we had everything we needed and even went above and beyond by giving useful tips for transportation in Japan. There were pamphlets on our bedroom pointing the way to the culinary and artisanal specialties of Fujiyoshida, which we really appreciated. The common room really promotes exchanges between travelers during meals and the complimentary coffee, tea and breakfast were delicious. We would definitely come back !!”

    “Metei no Yado Kosher is a traditional ryokan in the small town of Isawa Onsen. The property is stunningly beautiful. The hotel rooms surround a traditional Japanese garden that is magically beautiful. Everything is considered. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed. There is a public onsen but there are also private onsens, saunas, and hot rock bed rooms, which was great because you can enjoy the benefits in private, if you prefer this, rather than with others (which is the usual Japanese way). The food was also exceptional. We loved every minute and would definitely return!”
