“The people leaving such bad reviews to this hotel simply have no soul. It is not at all dirty, but indeed it's an old building. By the way, probably one of the most beautiful of Pula. Climbing up the hills you see it from everywhere, and it's insanely gorgeous. Thank god it haven't been refurbished like people want to, because I loved it all from the retro furniture to the old red curtains and the massive 80's TV. We had a balcony over looking the water and the sunset, the room was fairly huge and the bathroom all ok. No air conditioning but an old fan, no sort of fancy brand new features, but a feeling of royalty when you open your eyes and look out the window when you wake up, and the most romantic atmosphere when you come back on the evening. It broke our hearts to leave, and I feel like staying there have been a privilege. Wouldn't trade that for any of those overrated apartments that are offered in pula.”

Kids had their own bedroom, which was big and comfortable with two beds, and we also had our own one, with direct connection to the big terrace. We could also go out to the terrace from the fore-room. Kitchen is well equipped. The only thing I was missing is the microwave. Bathroom with toilet is quite small, but did not cause any difficulties. The owners (Ada and her daughter Elvira) were extremely helpful and nice. Parking facility is perfect and the location of the premise is also very good. (5-10 minutes by car to the nearest beaches).”

“This place is BEAUTIFUL. The staff always greeted you with a smile and made sure you were taken care of. I couldn't get over how clean it was. It seemed as if we were the first people to rent out the room/apartment but in fact, we were not. They're just that clean. The rooms are equipped with your own heating and air conditioning system which is wonderful. They have a restaurant in the hotel which was a huge bonus! We were able to have dinner sent to the room and had a wonderful hot breakfast the next day. The chef can make you an omelet of your choice. YUM! The spa and heated pool were magnificent!! Because the beach is not too far, the pool was empty and is open until 10pm. Yes please! How awesome is that? Pretty awesome to me. As far as the walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops. I would say it was more like a 20-25 min walk. We followed the gravel road all the way down, but I'm sure there are shortcuts to get there quicker. The beaches are rocky so be sure to get some water shoes. Your feet with thank you later. This place was lovely and I look forward to staying here again.”

We missed the 10pm check-in cut off by 2 hours and arrived at midnight. The whole property was locked and dark, but we called the phone number provided by Bookings.com. The owner answered, got up from bed, and checked us in. That was very much appreciated. We were leaving Pula early in the morning so the owner graciously offered us to sit down for a coffee and a chat before hitting the road. Since we were in a rush, the owner even offered to drop off our post card at the post office to save us time. The dog was very friendly as well :)”

“Amazing service from start to finish. Edvard was one of the most considerate hosts I have ever met. We booked the apartment so late (we arrived to pula very late and had not organised accom) that he was asleep when we arrived, and when I called and woke him up he still did everything possible to make sure we were settled into a room and comfortable. The next morning we needed to buy a tent and he was kind enough to call a camping store to reserve one for us that we went and picked up. even though we were not expecting breakfast in the morning Edvard made us some hot drinks and offered us a selection of juice and various fruit and pastries which were lovely! Overall I was blown away by the outstanding service of and Edvard and the quality of the room we stayed in. Amazing value for money and when we left Edvard gave us his card and assured us that if we needed anything whilst we were in Pula we could feel free to call him.”

“We went as a family of four, Karmen was so friendly and accommodating, we arrived very early but she looked after our bags, gave us lots of advise and was very helpful. The apartments were great for our needs, clean, modern and had everything we needed. A lovely view of the marina, there's lots of space with a barbecue area etc. The location was great as a local bus stop a stones throw away took us direct to the beach (5 mins) or looped round to the main town (15mins)! There's a shop selling all you need up the road or a larger supermarket about 10 mins walk away. We couldn't praise Karmen more, she even made some lovely pancakes for the kids. She lives within the complex which helps if you have an issue but we didn't. Pula has lots to offer, the people are so friendly, food as well as weather made it a perfect location. We ventured as far as Venice on a day trip which was brilliant. Visit Karmen and Pula! rgds Rukesh and family”

“The landlord "Sandra" was very nice and helpful. We asked if there is a barbecue grill that we could use and just a couple of hours later Sandra put the grill incl. the coals in the front yard. “Wow...where to start? I returned yesterday from a 10 day holiday in Pula, Croatia where myself and several friends went to attend Outlook Festival. I booked Apartment Elis for us all at the beginning of this year and since doing so have had regular correspondence with Himka who maintained a wonderfully smooth, professional and flexible booking process. Her understanding and patience are only some of many charming qualities that she represents. From providing a shuttle service from the airport, to washing our festival garments and complimentary 'female rakija' impromputu drinking sessions, she made our trip blissful and we are referring to it as one of our most fond holiday highlights. The apartments are both a great size and we didn't want for a single thing. We cooked in the kitchen regularly and had everything at our disposal, all the rooms were spotless, fresh and light - we all felt at home immediately. Another bonus was our warm welcome from Himka's cute dogs, Beni - 4 and Kimi - 3 months, if you are a dog lover, look no further! The apartment is in a great location and has wonderful neighbours who gifted us a good chunk of fresh watermelon on our last night! It is roughly a 35 minute walk to the beach and around a 50 minute walk to the centre of Pula. We went on holiday with the intention of enjoying ourselves solely at Outlook Festival and subsequently have fallen in love with this area and it's people. I would have no hesitation in recommending Apartment Elis, it compliments immensely what would already be an outstanding holiday. Himka, you couldn't have done enough for us and we are all so grateful. We are so looking forward to seeing you again and wish Yourself, Elvis, Beni and Kimi every happiness. “My stay in the Appartment Ingrid was just great. I was alone, but the appartment is enough for 2-3 people. Inside you will find whatever you need, especially if you stay 1-2 weeks.
