Absolutely lovely little property. Great, very peaceful setting and yet within easy reach of amenities. Having a welcome food package was really great. Hilary was the perfect host. Easy reach of the Northern Line. We are used to a super king size bed at home so we’re a bit worried about sleeping in a double bed but it was very comfortable.

We have a very comfortable private apartment with double bedroom and living room also with a sofa bed . A small kitchenette for basic snacks which includes crockery, cutlery fridge, freezer, microwave, electric kettle and toaster. In the living room is a sofa, table, chairs armchair and Smart TV . There is a self-contained shower room with toilet. Next door is a utility room with washing machine and dryer which you are welcome to use by arrangement. In the utility room there is a sink and draining board for washing dishes. The bedroom is carpeted and has a double divan bed, side tables, wardrobe and tv We provide a welcome pack of basic foods when you arrive.There is no hotplate or cooking facilities available.If you require the sofa bed to be opened please let us know well in advance .
We are a retired couple who are experienced at welcoming guests and like meeting new people but at the same time respecting our guests privacy. We enjoy travel, our grandchildren and playing bridge. We can usually help by recommending local entertainment, restaurants and travel information and are always on site when we have guests staying .
Barnet is a town in North West Greater London at the end of the London Underground system at High Barnet. We have many local shops and restaurants and are well served with bus routes and taxi access. The neighbourhood is very quiet and safe with a pleasant country aspect. We also have an amount of history locally and a Museum in the town and are close to a major site of the War of the Roses.Charming historic buildings and churched
