When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

We’ve stayed here several times as we have relatives nearby and the location is ideal for us. The staff are always super helpful and friendly and the breakfast sets you up for the day.

Nice big room. Tea and coffee in room good. Nice to have a big tv. Beds comfortable. Looked newly decorated just needs some finishing touches like curtains, rugs etc

Inside wardrobe very duty, blinds which could close so from 5am bright light in room. TV in one room not attached to Ariel so couldn’t use, remote for other TV in bigger room had back falling off and batteries not working so had to swipe for remote to tv that didn’t work, bathroom needed cleaning more. And floor in main big bedroom was very cold as wooden floor could do with some rugs. Very bad smelling In corridor and carpet and stairs as you go up to room very dirty needed at least a hoover. Wi-Fi password needs reprinting as error looks unprofessional. There was a party on and music playing until 2300 so hard to get children off to sleep. Told there was parking with two small children and someone else with a disable car pass we couldn’t park near hotel so had to drop them off and park 5mins away. Room looked newly decorated but needs curtains and a clean. Looks lovely from outside just not up to scratch on inside

1) The hotel was infested with moths. 2) As this is a spa hotel - the spa facilities aren’t available (too busy), although we only saw a few people. The spa area that is allowed to be used from 8 am is open from 8 am if you want to see how the cleaners are cleaning the facilities until 9 am. You’d expect it to be ready from 8 am. Also, the showers in the changing rooms are shockingly dirty and old, scary, no such things as hotel hygiene requirements. Also, so much bleach poured into the jacuzzi that it looks like a massive bubble bath and it leaves you with an awful smell of bleach for the rest of your day. Wouldn’t recommend if you have a sensitive skin, probably poisonous. 3) I asked for some slippers and a bathrobe and the staff were not very pleased (to say the least) that they had to make a few steps of a walk to bring it to me, rather than sitting at their computer or on their phone…Although such things usually are ready in the rooms on arrival when you consider that this is 4-star hotel. 4) Room service was only available by a share luck - to order from the pub next door, as they kindly arranged the delivery, hotel has no services and restaurant doesn’t always work. Yet again, expected a better service at a 4-star hotel. 5) Phones and TVs in the rooms were unplugged and disconnected, I did manage to connect it myself. Yet again, shocking really knowing you paid for a stay at 4star hotel. 6) I have paid for a room with one double bed and two single beds. From the pictures when booking it, it looked like one huge room. On arrival after checking in we went to our room and realised that its a room with only one double bed. I went to the reception to check if by a mistake, we were checked-in into a wrong room, the receptionist was very surprised that I wanted to unlock the door in the room and be able to use the two single beds in the conjoining room. I was shocked and lost for words. I had no idea that there’s a room within the room.
