“We used the hotel just for sleeping and bathroom. As we did not use restaurant, it is hard to tell about the food. People on reception were eager to help us during the stay, especially on check-in. The location was awesome. We were able to reach the main destinations on foot and the others by public transportation. The room was large enough for a family of 3, one of which is a 3-year-old child. Safe is a good detail for ones leaving valuables in the room. Overall rating is great.”
“This is not the sort of place if you want luxury, but all I wanted was a comfortable bed for the night from which I could catch a train at 6am, and for that it is perfect, as close to the station as possible without being part of it. I had a great view into the station through the overall roof, but then I like railways; so, that was bound to please! It is clean and efficient and inexpensive; the windows open (I hate sealed air-con), and the bed was comfortable, I slept well. The fact the hotel had a good bar with very keen prices and a range of hot food was something unexpected, but welcome too. Given these factors, it enjoys a young clientele, the bar felt a bit like a student union, but you can hardly blame folk for being young and (not being of UK extraction) they were not noisy.”
