“There was nothing that I liked about this hotel, the staff was very unwelcoming and was unwilling to help with any reset that was made .
On arrival to the hotel there was mix up with the location on hotel as there was also another Holiday Express in Chester which all of our party was staying, we requested for a transfer to be with the rest our travelling companion and the Manager from the Chester hotel advised that this would have been ok to do, we also confirm this with booking .com who had also confirmed that it was ok to transfer the reservation .
On speaking to Irvine on the day we booked in he advised that he would not be able to transfer the reservation as he was unable to do this and did not have the authority and we would need to speak to a manager, there was no manners on site, he was quite rood. He gat no information about the time for breakfast or checking out or shout the hotel,
I the morning we went down for breakfast to be advised that we were too late and was only offered frail or a cup on tea on paper plates. We then went to see the manager Jennifer Haberie who was also very rood, without any empathy to our situation and was unwilling to transfer the reservation after explaining to her that we had received the confirmation from both the Holiday Inn Express in Chester and Booking . Com she was still unwilling to honour our request.
We were advised that they were a franchise so they would not transfer reservations , I advised surly if this is a franchise they would all have the same rules , answer we would not have been advised by one branch that the transfer could take place, and the other branch that they do not transfer reservations. Surly if they are part of the same franchise the basic rules would be the same
This unacceptable.”
“My husband and I recently stayed at Haus Windham in Windham, NY and it was absolutely perfect for our romantic getaway. The apartment itself was charming and impeccably clean. The cozy fireplace was a delightful touch, and we spent evenings curled up by it, sharing glasses of wine.
The location was truly unbeatable. We were just steps away from the windham path. My husband also went to the golf course down the street. Also a short drive to Windham Mountain and the Main Street in town. It was the ideal balance of tranquility and easy access to everything Windham has to offer.
The staff was very responsive to all our needs. Communication was smooth and friendly, and they provided us with helpful recommendations for things to do in the area.
Overall, our stay at Haus Windham was nothing short of magical. We created unforgettable memories, and we can't wait to return someday! We highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a romantic escape in the beautiful Catskills.”
