  • Dockside Suites Review score: 10

“The owner has a novel idea, to me anyway, we were sent a link to our actual room where you could take a virtual tour in advance. Great idea! The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The bathroom is large with a great walk in shower. The heater and lighting had been done with great imagination. We had a large balcony right on the water's edge. We ate in the restaurant and the seafood was delicious and staff excellent. Private parking was available across the street.”

“The room was clean and a bed was pretty comfortable. Continental breakfast was pretty good. Only a few minutes walk to waterfront.”

  • 181 Oceanside Inn Review score: 9

“This was my first true B&B and I loved it! I've always shied away from B&Bs (unlike AirB&Bs) because I feel like I am putting someone out and that I have to tiptoe. I still felt that way a little (but that's more of a me thing) here but not as much because the host seemed so very genuine in wanting to meet my every need and thankful that I was there. The room and view was incredible! The entire building was spotless and very well laid out and organized. The furniture, linens, TV, guest guide, bathroom, lamps, tables etc were all Waldorf Astoria level quality. And the location was perfect...away from the city, near Peggy's Cove; a very romantic setting perfect for a couple from the city or tourist.”
