    “The staff, amenities and the food at the restaurant were all so exceptional! Falling asleep to the sound of the river below was total bliss. We were thrilled to have opted for the river cabins - we loved our lush everything was outside our room. We also appreciated how the hotel had free daily activities planned and listed on a board, including tours of the local village and excursions to the nearby waterfalls. We stayed with our 18 month daughter and had a bliss stay. I would definitely recommend staying here for a minimum of 2 days for a totally relaxed vacation! What a little GEM of a hotel! Well worth a trip to the area!”

    “I recently had the pleasure of staying at OwinRich during my trip to Godakawela, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. Located just 2 km away from the bustling city center, OwinRich offers the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by the sight of a beautiful outdoor pool, inviting me to unwind and relax. The rooms were spacious and exceptionally comfortable, providing the ideal retreat after a long day of exploration. But what truly stood out was the attention to detail and the incredible value for money. The price I paid was an absolute steal considering the quality of service and amenities offered. One of the highlights of my stay was witnessing the sheer joy on my kids' faces as they splashed around in the pool and explored the hotel grounds. The family-friendly atmosphere of OwinRich made our vacation truly memorable. Moreover, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. They even arranged a safari to Udawalawe National Park for us at the best price possible, allowing us to marvel at Sri Lanka's incredible wildlife. Overall, I can't recommend OwinRich highly enough. Whether you're traveling with family, friends, or solo, this hotel offers everything you could possibly need for a perfect getaway. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!”

    “This is an amazing little oasis in the jungle. Samir and his family are so friendly and polite. The compound is laid out really well, to ensure every bungalow enjoys privacy. We stayed in the double double bed room just over the bridge. The room and bed were very comfortable, I enjoyed my best nights sleep in days. The bathroom was impeccably clean. I asked Samir if he could help us arrange a safari, which he did. He arranged for Udawalawe Jeep Safari Services to collect us at 6AM. It was off season, so we had the jeep to ourselves.it was seamless. We are well in the open aired dinner area, entertained by a tree frog, who must have thought he was invisible, and inquisitive squirrels. . .”

    “We booked this place on the day of staying as our original hotel fell through + we couldn’t be more grateful, as this place was absolutely amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful, giving us cold towels and refreshments upon arrival. We then got shown personally to our room which was so beautiful + comfy. The pool was amazing too. They had a restaurant which we got given such delicious food. They even offered tours to Udawalawe National Park- only 20 mins away from the hotel. We arrived back from our safari just as breakfast was finishing but they still allowed us to eat even though we were late.”

    “We had the BEST time at Royal Reach. We really were treated like royalty. The hospitality was amazing, they went above and beyond to give us an amazing and luxurious stay. We were only there for one night but we wish we could've stayed a whole week!!! Every member of staff was so friendly and attentive. The hotel itself is beautiful and the pool is fantastic. The facilities on site are great, especially the gym which we really enjoyed using. The food was so delicious and so fresh, using organic ingredients grown on site. The attention to detail of everything was amazing and the service was executed perfectly. A special thanks to the general manager Seransighege and the barman Banuka who really went out of their way to look after us and make us feel special. We could not have asked for a more wonderful stay, it really exceeded our expectations. Bohoma Istuti to everyone at the Royal Reach!!”

    “Recently stayed at Tara Waterfall Hotel for a night and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is a perfect example of modern minimal architecture, with its sleek design and glass walls. The highlight of our stay was the breathtaking view of the Handapan ella waterfall from our room and pretty much from everywhere in hotel. Waking up to such a stunning sight was truly unforgettable. The room was very comfortable and large and had a balcony overlooking the tea estate and waterfall. The staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Food was also good and reasonably priced.”

    “Wow! The Backyard Balangoda is something truly special. Nestled in the family’s beautiful tea plantation, it is a stunning retreat designed and created by talented young artist Sumit. From the architecture, through to the branding, and through the restaurant into the fabulous menu, everything has been carefully considered to give the visitor a completely unique Sri Lankan experience. The accommodation is in a rustic style, immaculately clean and-frame bungalow with the most stunning views over the valley - an absolutely magical experience to stay in and wake up to. While this is totally off the beaten tourist track, it’s so totally worth visiting - we were only sad we didn’t have time to stay a few more days. If it’s available, book it! Just make sure you book a few nights! Well done sumit! Keep doing what you are doing.”
