    “I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and found it very pleasant: the rooms are large and comfortable. You can hear the traffic outside quite a bit, but you get used to it in the background. It takes about 1 hour to get to SF city by public transport: there's a free shuttle bus to Bart station and the 57 bus that goes past traders Joe. I chose this hotel because it's within walking distance of the Emeryville station, so it's about a 20-minute walk.”

    “Large, spacious, and comfortable room. Loved the gas fireplace and bay windows. Tons of space, felt like staying in a Victorian-era character home. The windows were triple pane, so despite being on 2nd floor facing main road, it was quiet. I did not hear any traffic or screaming. This appears to be on the edge of the tenderloin. We were surprised not to see much social unrest / failure. Pretty safe and perfect location being downtown. A walk skip and a jump to the JW Marriot, Apple Store, and all the trams. Ooh, loved the wine and cheese hours.”
