Me and my doggies loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. The gardens were so lovely & the cottage was decorated beautifully. it was clean, spacious & bright! It has a wood burning fire which was just lovely on the evening. It felt so homely & cosy & it had everything you needed for a perfect stay ! Plenty of books & games and information on walks & places to eat! The host was warm, friendly & helpful ! I didn’t want to leave !

Quiet and convenient in a lovely treed area of London convenient to tourist cites via the Jubilee Line at the nearby Swiss Cottage Tube Station. Good sized rooms (especially for London) on residential streets with limited traffic. Hospitable staff with secure storage for left bags. Small lift useful for hauling bags between floors. Washington Pub has good food and drinks, while farmers' market at Swiss Cottage offers a range of treats.

Double beds can be tight for those used to Queens and Kings, but rooms are good sized (even the singles).

The room was very clean and comfortable. Facilities were what I would expect in a 3-star hotel. The Stall were friendly, helpful and professional. Meals in the 'pub' were very good.

No room safe. However, I can understand that the installation of such a facility, in every room, would be very expensive and could be reflected, in an increased tariff

It was an amazing location, a wonderful old building, the rooms were pretty much flawless. I will be taking the missus back there for a weekend. What a gem!

The bathroom light is on a pir. I told them as I checked out the timer needs adjusting. It kept going off while I was in the shower lol. But the quality of the room was one of the very best I've ever stayed in. So it was a very minor thing.

Negative section of review
The shower needs some grip very slippery and seal between shower and door needs fixing broken radiator protection is coming away from wall no showing gel or shampoo/conditioner already in room no milk in room and the toilet back was broken plus had to flush chain to toilet multiple times to flush

I've stayed here many times and it remains a favourite. The staff are always welcoming and very friendly.

I didn't realise that the insurance, through Zurich is invalid after the age of 65? I'm 76 and definitely wouldn't have booked it had I known about this? My number 1 gripe, is the constant noise from the creaking floorboards, which is incessant and thoroughly annoying, especially when you get 4-6 guests walking down the corridor to get to their own rooms!!!

Cleanliness of the facility.
Negative section of review
The room is small and a single bed was provided. No chair and table in the room. The breakfast wasn’t ideal, no cooked food and no serving of breakfast. Bread, spread, cereal, milk and fruits were provided in the kitchen area. The location isn’t great, too far from the major road.
