Even though the Hotel feels kinda dated when you first step into it, the hotel room is very big in size and feels really spacious. When checking in, the staff was really friendly as well and they proceeded to guide me through the check in process. I also have to pay for the onsen fee (it's considered an onsen town after all) which I didn't mind. The view from the hotel room is awesome as well. When checking out, I was given a candy and a farewell postcard as well with the photo of the hotel! Overall a very pleasant stay at the hotel.

If you're a solo traveller, this probably won't be an issue, but otherwise, the hotel is situated quite far from the station (probably a 5-10 minutes walk away) so when arriving, you have to push your luggage pretty and I often felt how long more would it be. The hair dryer also felt a bit weak but usable.

Great location in Shinjuku - so many shops and restaurants within walking distance. We were initially worried about the room (due to some bad reviews on booking.com), but ours was a decent size (for Japanese standards) and comfortable with our own private bathroom. Our room was also quiet and we had a great view of Shinjuku. The rooftop bar is also fantastic with amazing views! Would definitely return.

Not too much of an issue but it’s about a 10-15 min walk to any station. Some families may not like Shinjuku area due to love hotels being close by etc but as a couple we thought this hotel and area was fantastic!

Cosy and clean accommodation. Feel appreciated that owner response my message promptly during weekend. Good wifi, can enjoy movie/drama on Netflix, Prime Video, Youtube and etc. Love the tatami flooring corner, unique design of the apartment. Hope owner maintain the quality or even upgrade the facility of accommodation with affordable price.

The owner lady is amazing. She will make a delicious breakfast for you. The room is big and tidy. We had a room with a view on a mount Fuji. The room is in a traditional japanese style. I truly recommend this place. I wish I stayed longer than only one night. Big supermarket is in the area.
