    “The location on the beach was amazing - we even saw baby turtles making their way down to the water one morning! Rooms comfortable and nice balconies looking onto the beach - nice pool too and lovely restaurant with delicious food! Also the staff were very friendly and helpful , especially Kara who made our stay really enjoyable!”

    “This property was absolutely beautiful. Our favourite in Sri-Lanka. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen areas are very tasteful and it was very comfortable. The surrounds are beautiful and forest-like. Boasting greenery and wildlife such as peacocks, monkeys and water monitors. The swimming pool was refreshing and clean. Staff were incredibly friendly and great to have a chat with. Breakfast on both mornings was a nice buffet with different options, tailored to our vegetarian preferences.”

    “Silva was such a great host, he made sure we had everything we needed during the entire stay and even recommended a place to rent a bike nearby. The breakfast was great, and he would even wake us up in the morning when it was ready! He also let us have late check out at no extra charge. The AC was great, and had a nice warm shower. We shared a small kitchen area with another room so had fridge access which was very helpful.”

    “Room was super clean, and had a nice balcony area. Perfect distance between Hiriketiya and Dikwella (which made it a 10 min walk to Cargills). The kitchen was well equipped and saved us lots of money! Host was really friendly, we ended up extending a night.”

    “Great place for a short stay during off season, very reasonable rates big clean room with big bed and overhead fan. It’s above the family house and very small, only 2 rooms! Location is very good just beyond the Marriott hotel. Bathroom isn’t en-suite.”
