“Stayed 6 nights, very friendly staff, breakfast choice was the best I've come across in Thailand, evening meals were excellent,a different meal every night, few minutes walk from a great beach, room 301 was huge with big balcony, not a crowded part of phuket but easy enough to get transport to the rest of the island.”
“Very remote location with magical feel of the jungles and the sea nearby.
Very warm and welcoming host.
Nearby beach for occasional snorkeling.
Small hotel restaurant/bar for enjoying beautiful views.
Great location to access sunset bars (Secret bar for example).”

“This place has everything you want in a perfect hostel: great beds with space and privacy, super calm, lovely staff (do not speak much English so just use a translator app if needed), amazing view from the rooftop with a useful little kitchen station, perfect location, and a more than fair price. I came back 3 times, and it is by far my favourite hostel on Koh Tao. If you pay a tiny bit more for the smaller dorm, you get a lovely window/balcony with a view on the pier. Oh and they also provide water refill which I think is so sensible on a beautiful reefy island.”
“To start i booked the deluxe room but on booking in they had given my suite to someone else so ended up in the standard room. Then the toilet leaked every time it was flushed and the aircon unit electrics were held together with tape and hidden by the wardrobe. They also didn't clean all the time i was there even though I'd put the sigh out on my second day. On top of that my room was robbed while i was asleep taking my phone Samsung s23 ultra in green + 10.000 baht and my reading glasses and case plus my vape worth £40. I reported it to the police but they only gave me a report number never did anything about it. I have the report but lost all the pictures of the room as they were on my stolen phone.”
“I extended my stay in Koh Samui, my option that I choose is Jade Cottage. It was the best decision I made. One of the best places that I saw on my Thailand trip, you will be welcomed by the sweet lady ( Mia ). She is an employee in the cottage and helped to set up the room before my arrival. Then I met ( Alian ) the owner of the Jade Cottages. He is so energetic and has this vibes that he is an old friend. Let’s talk about the place, you will feel like you are entering a jungle, a small swimming pool with sunbeds, the place is so peaceful and what I love is a small place with around 5 or 6 cottages, so if you are looking for a peaceful location this is the one. There is a cafe ( Tima’s Cafe ) owned by Alian’s son. The location is so close to all the attractions you need, like fishman villagers markets, not to mention the Samui Airport about 7 km away. Definitely my next visit to Koh Samui will be in The Jade Cottage.”
