“We had an amazing stay at Romantic Beach Villas. The food was delicious, and staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The accommodation was top-notch, clean and offering a very comfortable and relaxing environment. We especially love swimming pools with stunning ocean view. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect gateway !!”
“I had a lovely stay at Dream Catcher. Simple little room with good ac. The mattress is on the floor but was very comfortable and I had no problem sleeping. The property is beautiful with a big grass lawn and a kitchen area which is great for cooking your own food. The bathrooms were ok, no hot water in the showers but it’s so hot here you don’t need it! Location is good, right in General Luna but tucked away from the main road so it’s not noisy.”
“Super friendly staff, always willing to help. The location is perfect, it’s away from all the touristic areas in the south which makes it the perfect escape. They encourage business from local community to operate in hotel which is really nice ( surf lessons/ bike rental etc) the surf beach is one of the best in the world for beginners.”
“10/10 location - a stones throw from cloud 9 boardwalk and quiet spot. Beautiful room which had all that you could wish for. Chilled and quiet in the evenings. Delicious breakfast everyday at Bliss and lots of local eateries nearby. Scooter hire and help with booking tours etc appreciated!”
“This was a really nice hostel/ hotel and we loved our stay. The rooms are fairly basic (but exactly how it was shown in the pictures, so no issues here). The AC was good, as was the location and the staff were super friendly. One night we had a large spider in our bathroom which I asked if they could get rid off as we were too scared to do ourselves and he came back to kill it with all of his excited kids - great service! We also rented a motorbike off them one day and the price was really reasonable, about 250 pesos for the day. We had no issues here and would definitely recommend Kawayan.”
“The new accommodation is modern and stylishly furnished. The rooms were very clean, the air conditioning cooled the room really well and was also quiet, which is something we often experienced differently in the Philippines. The location just outside of General Luna and away from the busy main street was perfect for us. There were still some very good cafes and restaurants within walking distance. You can also have breakfast or a coffee in the accommodation itself. Tarun, the host, is extremely friendly and helpful and is happy to help with any issues, such as organizing surfing lessons. We really enjoyed our stay here and would have liked to stay longer if it hadn't been fully booked.”
“The staff were incredibly accommodating. always one step ahead such as packing a breakfast for us the the day we left since we were going to miss breakfast. Everyone always said hello.”
