destination reviews from real travellers

How does it work?

  • 1

    It starts with a booking

    It starts with a booking

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

  • 2

    Followed by a trip

    Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

  • And finally, a review

    And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

She joined in conversation over breakfast and on arrivals so everyone felt like family. The courtyard setting is so beautiful it is a dream to live in.. with colourful planting, old stonework and quirky things. Each 'room' is like a small studio cottage with bare stone walls and period dark furniture but also clean and modern in styling and a large comfy bed...excellent shower room also clean & modern and plenty space.”

    - “hardworking kitchen lady’s delicious breakfasts, cleanliness, rooms, location,”

  • Phi Phi Sand Sea View Resort

    - “Nice, right on the beach!”

  • Larex Otel

    - “The location is excellent, right in the heart of Kas, but hidden away from hectic touristic streets. The best coffee place is right around the corner, the main square is 3 minutes away. The hotel is cute, cozy, very clean, and comfortable. There is a gorgeous terrace where they serve breakfast, I also used to work there (making my colleagues jealous of the view). The kindest people are working there, it was a blast to chit chat with the owners, they are very friendly, hospitable, and kind, ready to go extra mile and ensure you’re having the best experience ever.”

  • Jockey Club Suites

    - “Amazing value. Perfect location. Absolutely clean.”

Absolutely lovely B&B. Rooms decorated beautifully not at all what you might expect when you think of B&B. The owners have done a really lovely job. Breakfast served in your room was delightful and a great way to start the day !! Fantastic location also 5 minutes walk to the marina and beach.

Overall very clean and comfy, the staff were super nice, and the breakfasts amazing. And the location is perfect, especially for avid shoppers, plus so close to the tube, trains, buses to and from the airport, and with many places to eat around at Westfield. Highly recommended!

The house provides easy access to Chester, Chester Zoo and the Aquarium at Ellesmere Port. As travelling with adult son, having a house with 2 bedrooms, it was more convenient than staying in a hotel.

On entering the property it was clear that it does not match the photographs. It is sparesly furnished and needs decoration. The sitting room was ok but certainly not homely. Basically it had a sofa bed, a chair, a coffee table, a lamp and a tv. The side window had no curtain so nobody would be able to use the room due to lack of privacy. The kitchen had basics but the worktop wss damaged by previous guest putting hot pans on and needed changing. The back garden is unkempt. The bathroom had mould around tiles and cracked tiles. The main bedroom was ok but the carpet frayed as was the other rooms. The bed was 2 singles pushed together with a topper to make it look like a double. The bedding was clean but the mattresses are stained. The curtains are cheap and didnt block the light meaning an early rise. The othe room has 3 single beds which were clean. The walls are paper thin and the noise from neighbours and the road were bad meaning a restless night. All in all if I had wanted to book student accommodation, I would have booked a hostel and it would have been cleaner and less damaged. If you book this, take pictures on arrival as we did, as they also take £100 out of your babk without permission and hold it in case of damages, which we also found: flooring damaged, stains on floors in bathroom and main bedroom, stains on walls, broken radiator covers, scratched bathroom sink, broken plug socket in main bedroom and leaking shower. We would have moved out but as we had paid so much, we put up with and spent as much time out as possible. My advice. Stay in thr heart of Chester it would be cheaper and probably cleaner. Also expect quite a few phone calls prior and on arrival from Outlook, up to the point you complain and then silence.

Just an option if you have an early flight and you need to park the car (fee paying). The place is OK, but kindness at the front desk could be improved.

We chose this hotel as they say they serve breakfast from a very early time, however, we were surprised when we saw that they would just have some coffee and tea together with some basic patisserie in the hotel's lobby...it was very disappointing. There was not much quantity, cold and not very clean either.

The parking. Having only a few bays available & one of them just big enough for a motorbike. Had to park on the train station lot.

Many fuel cars park in the EV charging bays, this blocks the chargers for guests who need to used the facility during their stay. the carpark need to be monitored better to prevent this.
